I never can fathom why anyone would ever get remotely animated about supporting Aston Villa.  They always come about 10th, and are never going to win the league.  They never win a cup either, because they field reserves to make sure they can come 10th.

How dull - like a never ending run of pre-season friendlies.

I'd rather support someone garbage - at least you might go up a league and get to see what The Bescott stadium looks like.

Think you'll find West Brom is more of a historical derby and as close to us as Birmingham, and Wolves is also classed as a derby.

Ha - well I suppose they look weaker than for many years, so maybe you will have something to get excited about   The McLeish appointment was stupid imo even if it does work out.
