Anyone think that, depsite zero social skills and a strange  tendency to answer "maybe" to every question, that this is all a bit unfair on JM?

Like my post said above, he is either in on it or the mark who shouldn't be allowed out on his own.-

He really hasn't helped his position with some of his comments on ethical situations. Unfortunately he sees life like a poker hand, and unfortunately this situation quite clearly isn't.

Obv DIH has done him over good and proper, but where are JM's other friends to pull him to one side, point out all of the obvious facts and says "hey dude, the guy you trust implicitly has been doing you good and proper".

One side to this which I find remarkable, is the money aspect. To mere mortals, they cant understand his absolutely apathy to money and its "value" because he perscribes a differnet value to it. That really hurts JM in this as I see it

I think the likely answer is that Jungleman has done shady stuff and is very awkward in real life/social situations. There was interview i read recently (think it was linked on here) where he admitted that he struggled with social interactions and wasn't "normal".

Thought this was funny from an old interview.

They go out to dinner and it is Valentines Day – the reporter says he is surprised to get a seat, the Jungleman asks why? It is typical and certainly not ironic that a poker player who spends 20 hour stretches winning and losing millions online should react in this way about Valentines Day.

I don't think it's unfair. Ignorance tends to be quite a flimsy excuse when you do wrong. I know the police tell me to GTFO when I say I thought it was a 40mph zone. You are expected to be accountable for your own actions in life. Jungleman has done a load of shady stuff and is trying to shrug his shoulders and say he didn't know or didn't realise. But he knew about the chip dumping and the multi accounting etc. and he should have made it his business to be aware of more.

In every game or sport the pros have an understanding of their responsibilities because young people look up to them and aspire to be like them. I find the morality in poker to be very low right now with lots of unseemly things happening. It would be nice if the pros out there lead the way in the morality stakes, but the complete opposite seems to be the case and what's more the pros seem to have zero awareness that their behaviour does matter to poker fans. Jungleman is non plus about lots of questionable behaviour and as such doesn't give one fig about poker as a whole. Both him and dogishead acquired lots of recognition and fame from the very community they are now dismissing. Lol at Haseeb just trapping. It's like Wayne Rooney flicking the v's to Man U fans and quitting football. He must be in it up to his neck, abs stinks.

Jungleman agreed to stake Jose to the tune of 50% so when the $100k was dumped 50% of that cash was Jungleman's and thus he must accept half the blame. That was his money and he was staking some young prodigy and didn't have one clue about anything. Why would he think he has no responsibility? I don't really expect pros to have some amazing morality but a lot of this stuff is criminal really and generally accepted as ok and just getting an edge. The sweat sessions are an abs joke as well even thou the pros think this is normal. It's like me betting you $1k me and my mates can beat you and your mates in a football game and me turning up with Didier fecking Drogba wearing number 9. All this access to hole cards through different avenues leads to corruption and collusion and this is why live streaming is bad for poker.

Wouldn't surprise me if JM is playing the clueless card for bluffs thou and knows the lot.

Yes, I agree alot more now, having listened to his admisions of lying, which still felt fuzzy and dishonest.

It would seem to be a textbook case of Aspergers, or at least be somewhere on the autistic spectrum? Obviously the genius poker mind can fit with this, but the real difficulty in social interaction does perfectly. I guess this would come slightly to his defence, as what is just awkwardness could be percieved as shadyness.

My nephew has Aspergers and sure enough struggles in social situations. But he knows the difference between right and wrong. Dont know why your ability socially excuses your behaviour morally.
