I know this is a bit late to ask this..

But how does the Waiver Priority thing work?

I haven't been above 4 all year!

Our league has a rolling list which starts with the inverse order from the draft.  With each waiver claim, you drop to the bottom and then work your way back up.  It brings an element of strategy to the waiver process, which gets more pronounced as the league gets deeper (and the free agent pool dries up).

The more common alternative is that waivers reset each week to the inverse order of the standings.  It replicates the NFL more closely, but I'm not a fan.

Talking of replicating the NFL, the real league penalises players who make excessive celebrations or who taunt their opponents.  I feel that the league needs to replicate this as closely as possible and Camel's blatant violation has therefore resulted in a one position penalty in the overall standings.  Consequently, the 7th placed team will replace him in the playoffs.  Let this be a warning to all managers as to their future conduct.

Now just need to pop onto the site and see who the 7th placed team was .....


Sigh, FMMFL, WP Camel and the other playoff qualifiers.

I wish I had known this excellent rule earlier!

Wouldn't have wasted my first decent FA position picking up Tom Crabtree who scored me the grand total of 0 points!

Very much playing the pacemaker role, trying to get so far out in front that Camel can't catch me.
