The first rule of Fantasy NFL is to make the play-offs.  After that, anything can happen.

There's no finer example of this than our 10-3 No 1 seed, Linux, going out at the first-stage to Captain Trade-Raped himself, Forth Thistle, who scraped in with a 6-7 record.

Well done to all the teams making it through to the semis.

Interesting to note that both teams who I allegedly took advantage with unfair trades made it through.  Ho hum!

I know it's only te consolation bracket but this week pretty much summed up the season for me. Go into the Monday game with my opponent needing 32 points from his QB in a game where throwing the ball is supposed to be tough. Obv he goes off for 39 points and out I go.

That was ridiculous mate tbf but welcome to my world. 7 of the last 8 weeks my opponent has had a player score 27.90 points or more and in one week there were two of them. In the last 4 weeks Ive averaged 114 points and top scored in two of those weeks which is great play off form but ran into 120 in the last game of the regular season and didn't have the tie break to get into the top 8.

Very frustrating game at times and even more annoying when you can see how you would have done in each round of the pay offs too. Tho it is my own fault for drafting badly and losing half a team and getting behind in the standings.

Karma my friend :-(  tho you ran incredibly badly with those significant injuries.I guess there will be a lot of good teams beaten this week in a lot of the comps thru those injuries.

I moaned it in last week, I have him in my other league, need 27 points from Stafford to beat the weekly points record of 181. My D got zero too which was a schoolboy error.

'''''According to ESPN, Jamaal Charles' 51 fantasy points in Sunday's win at Oakland were tied for the sixth-most since 1960.
Gale Sayers had 55 fantasy points in 1965 and Clinton Portis had 54 in 2003. Jim Brown (1961), Jerry Rice (1990) and Shaun Alexander (2002) are all just ahead of Charles with 52 points. Charles also became the first running back in the history of the NFL with four touchdown catches and had more receiving yards (195) than any running back since Marshall Faulk had 204 in 1999. The Chiefs officially clinched a playoff spot on the back of Charles' historic performance'''''

I remember Mike Vick putting up 50 odd in a Monday night game against Washington a few years ago but that might have been in a league with bonus points in it.

The Vick game is close to my heart.  It depends on whether the leagues count passing TDs as 4pts or 6pts as to whether it gets over 50 points.  Standard scoring is 4pts, which leaves it falling just short IIRC.

Hello final

Stroke of luck that Megatron had an off night

Big underdog to Longy's all-stars in the final, but you never know. Chip Kelly seeing sense and resting those starters would be immense/frustrating depending on which point of view you come from
