Go on, Tighty!

Be nice to think I beat the winner.

Congratulations to Tighty and Longy for making it to blondeBowl III.

Bit snowed under at the moment but will try to provide a bit of build up for it later in the week.

Big underdog to Longy's all-stars in the final, but you never know. Chip Kelly seeing sense and resting those starters would be immense/frustrating depending on which point of view you come from

Certainly wouldn't use the word big, would have it as a coin flip myself. Tighty using the seige mentality already with his team, everyone against him etc. Supposed your are used to given the team you support!

Clarification on the payouts? 2nd gets something right?

I just think McCoy and Graham are so good, its an edge. Great strategy in the draft, that paid off all season

We'll see though.

from an earlier Sheriff post, Mark

(6) Prizes
Assuming the numbers and fees as above then we'll have 12 teams competing for the $20 prize pool of $280, and 6 teams competing for the 'side-pot' of $480 (i.e. 6x$80).  I think 14 teams is about the point where a runner's up prize is reasonable so I propose the following payouts:

$20 League - 1st $240, Runner Up $40
$100 League - 1st $480 (effectively a 6 team league so no 2nd place prize).  If there's no clear winner of the $100 prize (i.e. more than 1 manager loses at the same stage of the playoffs, or none of them qualify) then the tie-breaker to be used will be the regular season league position.

In for next year, despite rumours that the Gravediggers board has been secretly meeting with possible replacements for Tal A. Villas-Boas III.

Can honestly see me entering shedloads of these.

I may be able to assist there, as I'm considering setting up a blonde Dynasty League to run in addition to this one.

Having played them for the first time this season, I'm definitely a fan, and there's a whole different set of issues to consider compared to a re-draft.

As for IDP, it's exactly what I feared, and doesn't add anything to the overall experience.  Team DEF is definitely the better option.

Damn you.

In, obv.

What's so negative about IDP? Or is it just too much of an advantage for Tighty et al?
