i keep hearing when i am doing research that there will be lots of value on the waiver wire
i am assuming that because we have 16 teams and 2 flex positions we are going to be a bit short of decent waiver picks
unless of course you have #1 priority the week a top star gets injured and his replacement has a blinder
yes.
our waiver wire is very thin.
16 teams not 12 makes a huge difference
if you are not 1,2,3 on the priority your chances of getting the hot player eg knile davis when jamaal charles goes down, are very weak
the situation is exacerbated because of the number of injuries at rb/wr/te in the first two weeks
i have a roster elsewhere that has lost jamaal, matthews, aj green and jordan reed. not fun, but at least in a 12 team elague the waiver wire is well stocked
this should mean in our league more trades, and more balancing of rosters, as the waiver wire can't help much
it does need owners to be realistic though, and in some cases "take a view"
injuries/suspensions, and the distribution of them, is the huge luck factor in any fantasy season
