couple of tips
a) once you have set your line up do not constantly second guess who is on your bench once the week's games have started. Absolutely no upside from it, and it only damages confidence
pick what you think is your best line up (match ups, injuries etc) and accept that sometimes you will get it wrong
b) bookmark
www.rotoworld.com
and follow some of the best fantasy analysts on twitter. Some of them really add value (i will keep the names to myself, you have to do some work!)
articles there will keep you in touch through the week, covering every game, waiver wire, injuires etc. No need at all to wait to Sunday afternoon (which you seem to do) to be setting a line up (except for last minute decisions around injuries)
all the info is available well before that

My line up is normal set up on a Wednesday and just changes with the breaking news yesterday changed a lot with Carr as questionable Harvin probable and Jackson questionable I waited for the injury reports to be filed
And dispite making the changes I would of been better sticking the back ups in for Harvin and Jackson and sticking with Carr who was meant to be in tough matchup and carrying a knock I still wouldn't of won lol

but what i am saying is, just like in poker don't be results orientated
Everyone with your line up would have played Harvin and Jackson
shit happens, but you made the "percentage" plays on your line up with the info at hand
the rest is out of your control

Look at it this was Iron, you have a good squad of players if you are having to make tough decisions each week about who starts for you.
Rich is deffo right about not back fitting after you know the results, I'm more annoyed with myself for selecting Chris Ivory yesterday instead of Jeremy Hill when all week I had known that Ivory wouldn't get in the game much if Denver were well in front. So if I had been beaten it is totally my fault for making that call, my best RB option on my bench now I know the scores would have been theo riddick but it was hard to pick him above the other two before the matches take place. It's good that Riddick played so well even tho he isn't in my line up, not bad because I didn't play him if you see what I mean.

Is there a trade deadline and last week to put in a waiver claim deadline?
Waited patiently to reach number 1 in the waiver priority list, don't want to waste it but don't want to leave it unused either...

from memory there is no trade deadline
or a last week for waiver claims, they continue through the regular season

No points for yardage, but 6 pts for a player who scores a td on ko or punt return.

The trade deadline is 21 November this year.
Waivers continue throughout the season.

The Dallas offensive line is so sexy. We are for real, win or lose
Much as I'm naturally inclined to hate them with a passion, you have to respect them as a contender this season. The two divisional clashes are mouth-watering prospects already.
I think Dallas are the better team at present, as the Eagles have been so inconsistent in getting to 5-1 so far. On the plus side, we've ground out results when not playing well, but there are still a lot of issues to fix.
The Cowboy's have shown how important the O-Line is to the team, and they've allowed Murray to finally show consistently what he's only done in flashes prior to this season. On the flip-side, last Sunday was the first time that the Eagles started the same O-Line in consecutive games.
Both teams should make it through to the post-season on current form, but being the divisional champion will make such a difference in the post-season and gut-feel tells me we're heading for 2nd place at the moment. Hopefully, that outlook changes over the coming weeks.
Obviously, it all starts at Wembley in a few weeks when the Jags do us a favour and take them apart! #yeahright
