Genuine question, how come a couple of you didn't pick a defence?

In a shallow league like this where there's a deep free agent pool, there will be plenty available to pick up in free agency.

In deeper leagues, QB, K and DEF have very shallow starting pools so it's a higher priority to get a starter and a backup, so not taking one becomes much riskier.  I've seen deep leagues where teams couldn't field a full team as a result.

I made two bad mistakes, one was misreading the line up and realising half way thru you could start 4 WR each week. The 2nd one was missing out on a player I thought was good value because I then had to take another WR after realising mistake 1.

Should be fun tho.

Cheers for sorting Curtis.

Hope you have a mare in your first game tho.

Tyrodasaurus Rex
1. Beckham WR
2. Jeffery WR
3. Evans WR
4. Rawls RB
5. Mathews RB
6. Jackson WR
7. Barnidge TE
8. Abdullah RB
9. Parker WR
10. Michael RB
11. Bennett TE
12. Texans DST
13. Taylor QB
14. Williams WR
15. Ryan QB
16. Tucker K

Never done WR, WR, WR before in a draft. Felt good, I must say.

My strategy for weeks has been:
1. Pick players in teams you think will do better than people expect
2. Don't pick running backs in terrible teams
3. Don't pick handcuffs unless they're the best available on the draft board
4. Don't pick Terrance Williams
5. Don't pick anyone in the first 8 rounds who is certain to get injured

0/5

Roll Eyes

Still love my team.

ALLEZ!

The fixtures aren't final yet, so they may change, depending on how well nfl.com has balanced them.

wow i managed a B main strength for me is RB according to the draft
how on earth i manged to pick 4 eagles and was still thinking of picking a 5th and 6th when we all know how bad the eagles are going to be
built my team around 4 RB's so an injury amongst them and i up a creek without a paddle

Loving my team, even if the cowboys who do the projections on NFL.com don't!

Freeman RB
Martin RB
Watkins WR
Brees QB
Sanders WR
Gordon RB
Austin WR
Chiefs Def
T West RB
Gostkowski KICK
Wallace WR
Cook TE
Vikings Def
Prescott QB
Hightower RB
Woods WR

Over the moon with that, yet got given a B!!

We shall see Smiley

Saw that you could start 4 Wrs so went heavy at the start. Even missing on Doug Martin (who I probably should of taken)

Antonio Brown. Marshall. Baldwin. As my top 3 picks. Hill. Rawls. Lockett. Marvin Jones (have him in all my drafts, think he'll have a cracking season, Terrance West (looked good pre season) Jordan Howard, Derrick Henry, Tajae Sharpe and Will Fuller as potential upside picks. Jared Cook at TE. Eli at QB and Cairo at Kicker

Was quite happy and even said on the chat box that it'll probably be a C according to their rankings...

C+ - 7-6 5th projected

DLeague Update:

The initial post-draft waivers have now processed and I've subsequently changed the settings back to the normal weekly post-game waivers followed by normal Free Agency.

To make things fair for everyone, particularly those at work, the free agent pickups will be live for everyone from 8pm tonight.  Please don't pick up anyone before then (as determined by the date stamp on the Yahoo site).  Any picks ups timed before 8pm tonight will be reversed.

After 8pm, fill yer boots!
