Sigh.

Banning ye from phone calls tonight until he's totally packed and ready.

Lol,

I did tell him to just make sure he had everything he was to bring and just stuff it in as we'll need to repack his once I give him the stuff I am bringing for him.

And if that big orange thing is the mat and can't go to half that size at least, I'd tell him to dig out the receipt and return it  Grin

That wee orange thing rolled up and safely tucked away in it's carry case?  It's meant to be smaller again than that?  Uh oh.  Looks like he'll be carrying more than you on this trip because I don't see him going without it.  lol

Only looked at the next 5 days and Saturday is the wettest which is our first day which is probably the easiest day of the trip. Weather shouldn't make any difference unless it makes it too risky on a climb.

Jack has produced some cracking maps with various alternate routes which will assist if we need to change tack.

Should be ok but ask him if it can be folded outwith the bag to a reasonable size. As it is it looks about the size of 6/8 gas cannisters as seen in pic

The bag is packed...kind of.

Reason for 'kind of'?  So far it weighs about 40lbs and Jack still hasn't filled the 2 - 2 litre bottles with water yet.  He also needs to add the things Geo is bringing to him.  Reckon it'll going to be a whopper when he's officially packed.

Ah well...least he's still smiling...

So, it all kicks off today, heading to the train station in a couple of hours and meet up with Jack this afternoon at St Bees. An evening of last minute re-packing and off we go.

A wee preview of us at St Bees
