Katie O'Connor raises the button and Julian Thew calls in the small blind with  three clubs

As you do

he check calls a c-bet on

turn  . Only Julian. check check

river  three diamonds

Julian v-bets 75% of the pot and is paid off, presumably by an Ace

I don't suppose Katie was very impressed by that. Did she give him a right hook?

Did he try and explain his pathetic play?

There's no need for that sir.  People can play how they wish, and don't need to be berated on here for it

Sam Grafton still in?

Yes 25,000 or so which is above average for this flight

Don't recall seeing a single player on his table ever before. Whether this is good or bad for him, no idea.

Mohammed Haque announces in the cut off "6,000 sorry I mean 600". This is from a 13,000 stack

He is held by ruling to a 6,000 raise

Julian Thew thinks he is weak, and ships A-9 in the small blind from 21,000

He is correct and Haque folds leaving himself with 7,000

I imagine she attempted a right hook, Julian grabbed her arm, broke it in six places then smashed his dinner plate over her head.

must've missed something along the way...was it not Katie O'Connor that was reported as first player out?

Darren Judges raises pre and is called by Vicesh Mistry, Kevin MacPhee on the button and Martyn Frey in the small blind

flop

Checked to MacPhee who leads. Frey c-raises all in. A big over bet of 20,000 or so into a 5,000 pot

MacPhee has flopped the absolutes with   and calls just covering Frey

Frey   for the combo draw. The heat is on for Frey then

turn is immediate service   and Frey more than doubles through

you were meant to have forgotten that. Misidentification error by yours truly (on the player list but it was someone else, as Katie withdrew from a to play b)
