Frank Romanello

Nicky Romanello is not here, so One Way Poker's Robert Cowan can be a substitute for him

HoldorFold short-stacked shoves A-J

Alan Stearn finds Aces behind and knocks her out

A lesson for HoldorFold there. Do not tangle with beards

Sad I feel responsible, should never have ruined her winter by putting her in my dream team!

Railbirds, Luton style

Mini Drainy and Drain Alien

Bit of a codicil to this one

I was going to use the caption "Young Steve Davis and manager visit Luton"

I tell Mr Alien this and his son whispers to his dad when he thinks I am out of earshot

"Who is Steve Davis?"

Feel old, much?!

Flight 1b  right at the end of Level ONE.......

Local regular Andy Lyew had the Kings - two of them - & his oppo had the rather thin A-K. It was even thinner after the door card came the case-king, for top set.

The Board ran out as follows.....

K-2-A-5-................A.

Andy departed, tail between legs, though the fact that the Villain gave it large might not have helped much.

Gavin Kan is out

In the space of a level he lost KK < 88 to double a player up, AA<AQ to do another player the honours and then flopped set < flopped straight to apply the coup de grace
