I got done doing 58 in a 30 on Saturday. Officer said it goes to court for that, I was just thinking I should take the 3 points and £75 by pleading guilty by post.
Any advice speeding experts?

26mph to 35mph over the posted limit £45-£200 fine and 5-6 points.
If you can take 3 points do it, else you could get a fuking skanky 6 points in court and a bollocking..

You were doing almost double the speeding limit, so 3 points and £75 sounds reasonable (have they upped the £60 fee or something?)

Someone I know got caught on the M40 doing 127 mph at 2 am. he's a 60 yo bloke who was worried about potentially being locked up so he enlisted the help of solicitor Nick "Mr. Loophole" Freeman. He got all the charges dropped on a technicality. The cost of this was £7k.
I dont think it's worth using him for anything less than a ban though.

It's all academic until a summons arrives. The information for this must be laid with the courts within 6 months. The summons may then arrive shortly afterwards. Failure to lay the information within 6 months is a win for you and possibly your best hope.
Freeman et al can only expose flaws if they exist. Nothing is guaranteed.
You can't get the jail just for speeding but once you get to well over 100 you risk a dangerous driving charge and then jail for the top end speeds.

lol..mugged... Mugged when u can get the same for 2k...and I do believe Freeman sub contracts his work out to the very same people... Hardly mugged when he will have got costs, worth every Penny. Mugged is a bit harsh, value is what you place on the service you're buying. If you can afford it and you're happy then c'est la vie.
