Hope I haven't mislead you, it's an online heat. Got to get through two of them before I see a studio.

I will answer that after I have done the latest in from Dave, which was....

"...Lost a couple of quick ones, including The Grinder, down to 13...."

When I first read that, I thought he meant he had lost a couple of pots, and had 13k, but on re-reading it - & I have reproduced his text word for word - it don't mean that.

13 left then!

To TightEnd's question now.

I have never played in America, so I don't really know, but my guess would be that the Americans probably consider themselves Omaha players, & the Europeans believe they are better Pot Limit players. What happens when you mix the two, I have no idea.

Should or does DC have an edge? Those that know DC will readily acknowledge that he is a modest guy, not given to trumpeting his abilities. But I can tell you he DOES consider he has an edge when playing Omaga against ANY player in the world. No need for false modesty, that's just the way he sees it. There you go.

It puzzles all of us, especially his opponents. But he thinks he has that edge.

In Hold Em, he thinks he has less of a edge, but an edge nonetheless. His results back that up, he has won a small fortune in Hold Em down the years, 2 big comps evey year, Player of the Year 2003 & on the way to repeat (he hopes) in 2005, plus whaever he has won in big cash games, of which he plays plenty.

I don't know about you, but I look and look at players like him & try to fathom what they do different to the rest of us. And I just dont know, excpet they clearly DO do it better. Guess if we all knew, we'd all be as good.

But he considers himself a better Omaha player than hold 'Em player
.
Now, another text in from the man himself......
