Of necessity, I spoke to Dave Colclough today & asked him not to bother updating us too much tonight, we want him to focus on the task in hand, which is a two-parter - 1), reach the Final, & 2), Win the bloody thing.

Casey Castle OUT 18th, $11,565.

More in a moment - two more texts just in from Dave. Fat lot of notice he takes of me then.

"...John Juanda OUT. drawing to QQ with a Q flush draw, Awada had KK with K flush draw. 16 left, me 48,000..."

I am afraid I don't know who Awada is, I geuss it's a a typo. We'll excuse The Blonde One on this occasion....

And another.....

16 left, blinds going up to 1,500-3,000......".

NO. Only 2 count so you have a pair of aces with no straight or flush or trip chances.

AAKK with double suits.

Heres another just in from Dave....

"Joe Beevers OUT in 16th place......."

Hard to bear losing Joe, but at least or Dave is still present and correct.

So by my reckoning, Dave can look forward to a minumum payday of $13,875. Methinks he has his eye on a lot more.
