Another crazy NFL week.
And LOL that this is still possible......
If: Wk 16: Jets (h) beat Giants, Eagles win @ Dallas Wk 17: Eagles (h) beat Redskins, Giants (h) beat Dallas
Then the 8-8 Eagles would make the playoffs as NFC East Champions and No 4 seed, as they hold all the tie-breakers in the NFC East. NB: If any one of those results goes the other way then it's mathematically impossible for them to get there.
Then a few weeks later Philly meet Kansas City in the Superbowl.

Don't like the way bens moving... His mobility is part of his game... I see him getting intercepted a few time trying to throw big..if he he gets real pressure his in trouble.. Very close... I give it to sf.. Taken -3.5 for odds. Ben healthy would be other way round..got the under 40 points to...gonna be close
Wow I got one right for a change..... Ben's injury def effected his throwing action and caused the interceptions but he still looked dangerous. If he had been healthy would have had the steelers. Thought the frisco secondary played well and once Steelers O line tired and that rush started to get to him it was all over. Took a small insurance at 10-3 when steelers suddenly went 17.0 such is bens ability ....

Something I always wondered at this point of the season with teams like colts and rams ...will they bother trying to win games now so they can get number 1 pick in the draft?

It is especially tempting this year with luck being considered the ready college qb in at least a decade being the lock 1st pick. I don't think any team deliberately tanks, with players and coaches futures being on the line.
Hell of a plan by the colts franchise sucking the nut years, before drafting a true franchise qb. Matt barkley looks a good consolation though.

Robert Griffin III is another highly sought QB too. I was listening to a podcast today which talked about him as being the Number 2 overall pick in the draft.
As for teams throwing in the towel, I've heard it said by former players that this is really difficult to do in practice. Many guys are too naturally competitive to do this, others have personal financial reasons to play well if they've got free agency looming.
I think, as a team, morale and confidence undoubtedly get sapped and creates a losing atmosphere in the dressing room as a whole but no coach or player goes out there deliberately to roll over (unless of course his name is Albert Haynesworth!)
