has anyone here actuAlly ever voted for anyone? i find it pretty sad that we all watch it and give a toss who wins this thing but would be ashamed of anyone who picked up a phone. it seemed that mr walsh's only concerns were that would anyone pick up the phone and vote for this person or not.

I voted for Will Young in the final of pop idol.

I feel better now I don't have to keep that in anymore.

Janet has a pretty voice, and different, but far from amazing.  She reminds me more of bjork than diana vickers tbh.  From the performances last night there was no one that really wowed me and I don't think we're going to find any new superstars this year.

I think last night's X Factor was the best show ever when the usual boredom was interrupted by noticing one of the boys had his occupation listed as an "Amusement Park Squirrel"

Lol, we had a chuckle at that too.

The girls have the best category by far, but the boys are quite strong too.  Thought the girls were the best group as a whole last year but Matt was the best in the competition.  I think I could select 5 or 6 of the girls to go through, it's the toughest group to decide on a final 4 on imo.

Poor Louis getting the overs again, such a lol group.  Some of them are ok but the best should just be in theatre or caberet, they're no where near pop stars.   That guy with the high pictched voice should head straight for Vegas for a drag show, he'd make a killing.

One or two of the groups are ok but none that special.

I don't think i'll be seeing my tenner again.  My new favourite is Craig.  I didn't see his first audition but just watched it on you tube - good personality and a great voice.

Twist has got to be somebody coming back hasn't it? Wildcard entry? 1 from each category perfom and public get to put their favourite back in?
