Starting tomorrow, Friday 16th September, there will be a weekly £1,000 Guaranteed Omaha Tournament on SkyPoker.

It is a £5.50 Rebuy, rebuys can be taken ANY TIME you have starting stack (3,000) or less, & with a 4,500 chip Add-On available optionally.

The stated aim is to have Omaha Tourneys in this, or alternative, formats, with Guarantees of, for now, either £500 or £1,000, SEVEN NIGHTS PER WEEK by November. But it just depends upon demand.

It would be great to get some blondes in this. Omaha is still very much in its infancy on Sky Poker, but initiatives like this, with guarantees, overlays at the start most likely too, are worthy of support imo

It's not actually "nightly" yet, but the goal is to make it so by the beginning of November, if we can drum up enough support.

First time im playing this tonight, and using the sky software.

The stack size through your cards is annoying.

Seem to be running fairly well structure wise.

Will Sky Poker discuss any hand analysis/advice on how to play hands. I have touched PLO at the smallest stakes but have always felt I do not have enough knowledge of the game to play properly.

Like many I watch a lot of televised poker and learn a hell of a lot from the pundits but this is all NLH coverage.

Perhaps Sky Poker could look at a 1hr weekly programme to discuss. I am sure there would be interest and it would encourage more people to get involved in the game.

Just a thought!
