Nico29 and cambridgealex are sparring like good'uns

Andy Moy limps for 200

Dom Nico Kay 700 UTG+1

Small blind calls

Alex 3,100 in the big blind

Kay 8,000 when the action returns to him with about 23,000 behind

After a think Alex sets him in

Kay passes after a lean back, a ruffle of some tousled hair and an enigmatic look towards Goulder

Only one winner in this battle so far. Goulder over 75,000, Kay down to 23,000

ANY UPDATES ON MICHELLE SHEILS AKA 'GOLDENLADY'

She is on exactly 50,000 though she tells me the stack has been a rollercoaster up and down

I got a smile. A rare smile, because apparently she is "on the vodka as no one else is"

good old Dreenie is always good value for an update

She is in the midst of a prolonged argument with this fella, Martin Dietrich, who sounds like a cross between Donald Duck on helium and Eddie Izzard

Apparently the D 4 rules on showdown are different to local rules, and once dreenie has won a hand, Dietrich insists on seeing her hand

"for information"

dreenie tells him to "get a grip", and I can see them both chuntering from several tables away as I write

LOL played with him wednesday night; the voice is priceless. Like an evil german comedy villain.

Phil Pratt limps, as does Alex Goulder and Dominic Kay checks in the big blind with K-8

Flop 6-8-8

Kay check calls a lead from Pratt, Goulder calls too

turn J

Kay check raises Pratt, called

Heads up to a 4 river

Kay shoves (about twice a pot bet by this point), called by A-J

He has doubled back to his starting stack

"just so I can give them to Alex again"

He was on my table at day 2 of the main event, didn't stop talking! Bit crazy but harmless

Brummieboy calls me over and tells me the storyof his tournament so far

He was down to 30,000 in the first level

Had Aces on 2-3-7-9. He was check raised on the turn, and called down to be met by 9-7 which had cold called a four bet pre

Had Kings on J-5-7-8. He was check raised on the turn and called down to be met by J-8

Steaming, he has apparently barrelled everything since, mainly at the expense of Steve Holden, and has got to 55,000 without a hand or showing one!

The secret diary of cambridgealex, aged 15

Phil Pratt limps

Alex Goulder makes it 650 at 100-200

Andy Moy and Pratt call

flop  two hearts

Pratt leads for 750.

Goulder calls

Moy makes it 2,500

Pratt calls

Goulder now bumps it up to 9000

Moy calls!

Pratt folds

With me so far?

turn

Goulder leads for 18,000

Moy calls

river  two spades

Goulder jams 26,000

Moy tanks, and tanks, and tanks. Holding

He folds

The table is absolutely convinced Alex has made a big bluff

Remind me to reveal Alex's hand later if the table breaks, he wrote it down for me

Or you can guess the hand

Meanwhile, young Alex is back grinding the monopoly
