First, I wouldn't have said anything in public.
2nd, I would have let him have his way and bumped him.

City should get every club in Europe and prem to chip in and pay his wages, and they should very publicly let him rot in the reserves. Weekly media on how fat the little fuck is getting

Someone needs to be made an example of

Why would other clubs chip in and pay his wages?

He's saying he never refused to come on, could be interesting.

If he did refuse, I'd stick him in the reserves.

He 100% refused to come on.  He pretty much admitted it in the post match interview before Joorabchian got to him.  I would sack him because he never ever gets paid £200k a week again anywhere and he will have to rely on a poor team to come in for him and take a risk on him at 80k a week or something.  Will never happen but would be wonderful if it did.

Yeh last night he said he wasn't physically or mentally ready to play and he didn't have faith in the manager.

I'd sack him and pay somebody to break his legs.

Someone will pay Tevez a ridic amount of money..probably inter or some team like that. They'll also geta  great player for a year or so until he takes the hump there.

Just let him rot in the reserves imo, the wages are the equivalent of a big mac to the owners so would be com if they took the hit and ended his career that way.

City can afford the wages so I'd let him rot in the reserves until such time as THEY decide to sell, even if that isn't in January.

And to whatever extent the PFA rules allow I'd performance manage him strictly so that any out of order comments, going AWOL, non-appearance in the reserves, etc gets a maximum fine.

Put him with the reserves.  Make sure he is at Eastlands for the maximum possible hours stipulated in his contract.  Doesn't turn up?  200k fine.

Rinse and repeat.

If he goes on strike.  No problem.  No wages.

Keep him for the duration of his contract.  If he walks out, keep his player registration until the end of his contract.

Give him a really rubbish locker as well.  One of those ones that you have to bend down to get your speedos out Smiley

I'm fully expecting Neil Warnock to put in a bid for him.

If there's no reserve team then better still - no chance of any games.

I'd make him train away from the first team, either with the Academy or solo.

Do the youngsters still have to clean boots, etc these days?  If so, he'd be doing that too as part of the Academy squad.  When they're in classes I'd chuck him in a classroom too with an English tutor to make him do what he should have done years ago.
