It was a tough watch live, and I hope a few lessons are learned
safety standards in Indy massively lag F1, which is odd considering Oval racing is so risky, the speeds huge and the cars travel so closely together and it takes a really nasty one to remind you of that

In this, it was a bit of a PR show. Started at the back, and $2.5m to a fan if he went on to win. He'd passed 10 of 33 cars in the first ten laps.
Not only that but a lot of raw drivers were in the last race of the season as one offs.
