Had my stag do in Vegas. Oh boy is all i will say on that.

Stayed at PH, which was ideal for party vibe and location.

Can get flights a lot cheaper if you go via Houston or something but it is a massive ball ache, just go direct for the extra couple hundred imo.

ARIA has some sick deals and i think they are suites only which is decent esp for the older peeps.

All depends on the budget per person.

Myself and a few mates stayed at Treasure Island which was reasonably priced/located and the rooms were decent.

Got back from a near identical jobbie 2 weeks ago, 11 of us, all 27/28/29 ish.

Paid £740 for 5 nights in MGM, rooms were fine, average but fine for needs.  In-direct flights via Philly, from Manchester.

Did Casino golf out there which was a shambles as 2 lads went home ill after 4 casino's.

Paid for pool party cabana @ wet republic which was awesome but to be fair the elders in your group probably wouldn't fancy that.

Xs @ Encore & Tryst @ Wynn were the best two nigthclubs we went.

Drove out to Hoover Dam & Canyon Skywalk which was only like $60 each if helicopter is too expensive.

I would look at flights ASAP as they only seem to get more expensive the longer you wait these days, unless your lucky and catch one of the sales.

Then look at sorting your hotel. There are some good deals to be had on Hotwire I believe if your not bothered about knowing which 4 star your going to be in.

Stopped in Planet Hollywood last time which I thought was really good value, atmosphere etc

Guy managed to sort it out at about £50 per room per night by spinning the hotel host a yarn about us reviewing stuff...

This basically but it's ok to book hotels early as deals come up and you might be able to lock something in at a sick rate.

I had about 5 booked for last year and then just cancelled the ones I didn't want the week before I went.

You only pay the first night as a deposit on a room and can cancel it up until a couple days before at no cost to yourself.

Harrahs just book direct and checkout the deals on www.smartervegas.com Planet Hollywood would be ideal for a stag as mentioned.

I stayed there for a couple nights this year and thought that it was good on the whole apart from Alex Martin breaking my scooter trying to climb on the back of it pissed up Cheesy

If you're going in July then you may be able to book it through Dave1961 who posts here on their WSOP rate at Palazzo of $180 a night all in. Carve that down the middle  and it's for nothing really to stay in a great hotel.

Last year BA had a sale at the end of October/beginning of November and had one the same time the year before. Might be worth waiting until then for flights.

Echo book hotels now and keep checking for decent deals closer to the time though. Just make sure you can cancel and get deposit back - Vegas hotels are slowly starting to have offers where hotel is paid for there and then, non-refundable.
