1st time post on this thread:

I was speaking to an old friend yesterday (life long gambler) who works for the owner of RONINSKI 7:10 Kempton.

He said that he had been talking to the owner and the owner was "confident, everything is in place"

Currently around 14's.

on.... and a few SFC as a bit of cover Wink

good luck us!

Not making any excuses apart from that it had the worse possible start that you would want in a race of that kind. At the back from early on, made ground to get into midfield where then it was obvious he wasnt going to win so IMO the Jockey didnt didnt go too hard on him. One worth noting for the future I think.

I did write up a decent analysis for todays bets, but the text disappeared and cba to write it all out again.

Out for lunch and some christmas shopping today so its mostly smallish stakes on these selections plus a few random luck 15's and will most likely watch the afternoon racing on tv in the pub.  I will look at the Wolverhampton card in more detail before I go out and post any thoughts.  There are 2 horses though I am keen to be onside with and as soon as I get my bets sorted I will post.

1:15 Muss - Equation & Ballymacduff -
1:45 Muss I think if all 8 go to post then La Bacouetteuse is nailed on to finish in the first 3.
2:55 Muss - Balnagore
3:30 Muss - Murkle Boy
2:35 Donc - Marley Roca

I know it didn't win but why did Balnagore go from around 15/1 to 30/1 pre race then touch 500/1 in running (On Betfair) whilst the race wasn't even half way through?

Someone knew something?  I never had access to my computer so not sure what was happening also missed the tv coverage as had just got a taxi home before town was overtaken by the office party types.

My selections today were more speculative than anything else.  I said I'd be playing small so as not to get in a hole and need to start digging.  I managed to catch a few of the races and in the first I thought we were in with a real chance of scooping something at Musselburgh, the money did come for Ballymacduff I was on at 14/1 so when it was backed down to 15/2 I had a little more hope.  Sadly when Bally went down Equation was hampered at the same fence and its run petered out and only managed 4.

The most frustrating one for me was Marley Roca at Doncaster, because he looked to be struggling early but when scrubbed along for a bit he was right back on the bridle and looked ready to come with a big run before he and the jockey attempted a star jump.

I am hoping that Murkle Boy puts in a performance and we can go into this evenings card breaking even.
