sick sick rubdown lol.. its fine, tbh i didn't have much of a clue what i was due to bink until i spoke too Mr Blacklock who i must say is a real star for helping me.. I tried to get intouch with somebody who had the means to lay it for me, as anything around 4K mark would of been awesome.. In the end it never happened and decided just to roll with it..Felt like a Balla for 3 minutes, I understand what they mean by a sweat now (Buckets)..

I missed Wolves tonight, I had a family emergency that needed dealing with. Had a quick look over the results and I am pretty sure it would have been close to a losing night/might have broken even as I liked the way William Haigh won when Milliagn tipped it up on this thread when it ran at Southwell there was also a jamie Osbourne horse that finished 2nd @ 14/1 that I liked when it ran in a maiden last month - Fistfull of Dollars. But those 2 aside I'd have come up a blank.
I have spent the last hour on tomorrows card at Leicester. Still got a few things I want to check out but I have identified 3 bets so far and I will try and have these on this thread early tomorrow morning.
GL all.
PS - still gutted for Leatherman. I know I said let it ride but I just wish someone was able to have helped you lay the bet off earlier. :-(

In the opening race at Leicester(1:05) I expect that the favourite will put in a big performance and will be difficult to beat. However I like Star In Flight, showed up ok on the flat. Didn't seem to appreciate the AW but has lines of form on Good/good to firm ground on turf and I think will show up well on debut for a yard thats in a rich vein of form.
2:10 is a Competitive handicap, and there is one running I am sure I posted on here 2 weeks ago - Vertuex - but I wasn't really impressed by that on the day despite it placing at 11/1 and finishing 6 lengths or so behind todays likely favourite. Today though the one that stands out at the price is Magid Prospect. If it can improve on last running at Uttoxeter after a long abscence it should go very close.
3:15 - Is a race that I chewed over for a good while and could make a case for 4 of them, not because they are good animals but because its a bad race imo and very little talent on display the field is more littered with horses with temperamental issues in the end I have opted for Just Beware who has won on good ground over the distance before and seems to appreciate good going more so than good to soft.
3:45 - Castlerock - is one I have had word for and a big run is expected. Showed up well when finishing 2/9 in a handicap at Southwell back in June. Not many miles on the clock and a likely improver.

That was a bit meh! I was really happy with my 7/2 when I saw the money come for Castlerock in that last race. That would have made for a nice winning day with 2 other placed efforts. Instead i'll have a bitter taste in my mouth when chewing on my sunday dinner.
The going at Leicester was advertised as good, I seriously doubt that was good ground today it seemed to be cutting up quite easily.

I'm pretty sweet on Sizing Europe today and have snaffled some of the very generous-looking 2/1. On it's official rating it's got a stone in hand here and I wouldn't be surprised to see it win comfortably with everyone left scratching their heads wondering how it was ever allowed to be such a price. It's a 5/4 shot in my book. This horse seems to have been consistently under-rated over here, both by the bookies who appear to be trying to get it every time it runs, and by the odd hirsute German dwarf
