being in vegas is no excuse for not keeping up to date with our favourite programme redsimon.  Don't you have access to youtube?  Might need to have a judges' meeting on this one.

Yeah - Kelly managed to watch from the US last week.

Tried accessing itv.com/xfactor but couldnt connect. Will try Youtube. OK to amend orignal picks? How long before show starts though?

TY AndrewT

Curse of going first. Getting bored of the camp act

Just terrible. Cockozza has given up

Not popular enough to get enough votes although do enjoy her performances.

Who goes depends in what order the public votes are. Pretty sure Sing off will be between Johnny and Kitty so Johnny and Frankie to go

just over an hour and a half.  None of the other judges are available at the moment so I'm going to take an executive decision and say that you may, under these unusual circumstances, delete your last post and repick after you have watched the performances, giving original reasons based on your viewing experience.

edit: tulisa is here now - let's see what she thinks....

Tulisa is being pretty stubborn on the no editing rule. Best leave your original picks up for now simon.

Deleted them but I'll repost below:

Frankie. Can't sing

Janet. Messed up song

Littlemix. Couldn't really understand what they they were trying to do

Having watched clips I'd dump Johnny instead of Janet but hey ho Smiley

OK final decision is these original picks stand, minus little mix which you failed to highlight properly in your original post.  Your Janet pick will also fail to score should she be in the bottom three as this pick was based on second hand information and you have now since said you would not have picked her had you watched the show.  Your Frankie pick remains live.

I'm glad Claw75 has brought up the point of highlighting as it needs looking at.
The point of highlighting is to emphasise and draw attention to picks. I have fallen foul of the strict rules so I hope you will be looking at this closely.

Claw75 - pink on light grey
Gatso - font size in the negative
redsimon - what looks like white on grey

Some classic examples of "lowlighting"

FRANKIE COCKiza- Cause everyone remembers how shit he is everytime he sings

Janet Snivveling - Becuase she is getting worse week on week... not versitile enough

Johnny Dazler - he's losing the camp vote and the vocal weakness is becoming more apparent!!

It was Tulisa who mentioned the littlemix highlighting.  I personally didn't remember what it was like so didn't have a problem with it.  Have referred this to gatso to answer.

oh and the background colour depends on what theme you are using and where your post falls in the thread.  My pink would have looked fine on the dark grey in the classic grey layout.

hmm, my test post above is highlighted in beige and I can't see it at all in the theme I'm using so happy to accept that simon did have little mix in beige originally. can people avoid beige in future though please

how on earth you all put up with reading the forum in the default theme I have no idea, it's awful

Public reception there like the one in the Eurosong episode of Father Ted.
