A very proud Ed Gascoigne
He said Bowers, with direct position on him, had been a pain in the arse all day, 3 betting every raise he made. Enough was enough, he thought Bowers was at it.
He was right

Dreenie Nutt is out
She shoved over a Grant Pullen raise for under 10,000, Pullen called
Pullen A-Q
Dreenie K-Q
Ace on the flop
and with a smile on her face and a "How do you do" to her table mates she skipped off merrily away from the table. Possibly.

Mark McGill raises to 1,500 from a 13,000 stack
Alex Goulder playing 50,000 moves in from the big blind
McGill calls off
Goulder only has A-Q
McGill though has taken a stand with Q-J
An eerie silence of disbelief settles over the table
Alex's hand holds.
He then reveals what tonight's lottery numbers are
as he mentally sings Happy Birthday to himself

Bit too young to be Cos, imo.

Bear with me on this one
Speechplay goes mad....
Chris Bruce shoves 12,000 at 400-800 UTG
Roberto Romanello calls leaving 1,000 behind
Grant Pullen in the big blind thinks
Romanello starts talking, first telling him he is way ahead if he has 3-3 and to call
Pullen then says his pair is bigger than that
We'll soon learn that whatever his pair is, its certainly not big enough lol
Chris Bruce asks him if he has Jacks
Pullen says no a bit lower
Bruce "tens?"
Pullen "yes"
Romanello "if he does call and he has tens his hand is dead right? you can't name your hand"
"I didn't name my hand" says Pullen
"You did" says someone else
"He didn't" says the dealer
Pullen calls for a Ruling
His hand is ruled live even if he has named his hand
A few minutes of to and fro later Romanello is implying that tens would be a easy call
"everyone knows you are calling, just call and lets see"
Pullen has 50,000
Eventually Pullen passes
Romanello shows 8-8 and tells the table
"My work here is done" laughing
another player at the table tells Pullen "Man you got speechplayed out of it"
Bruce A-Q
flop 3-8-A
Pullen "see I was right" (yes, seriously)
turn 6
river A
Romanello knocks out Bruce

The QQ v KK v AA hand was for a 75K pot. The KK lady had over 30K. Pretty sick
what a cold deck
Even sicker.... The guy who won that hand that had 80K bluffed them all off and was out 2 hours later
