So... two hands mucked preflop after both players declared allin.

What was the ruling?

Both hands declared dead and both players given all of their chips back.

John Miller not happy at all. Even Jack seems suprised that John doesn't even get Jack's first raise in his chip stack. Opinions?

know doubt another ian bryant cockeyed rulling ,

George has sent Terry Owen home

Terry had A10, picked up a flush draw on flop but George's 77 held and even tripped up on river to more feel good factor.

Odd ruling. If both players and dealer agree on the two hands fish thecards out. Reshuffle the rest. Deal it out

That seems to be the general consensus here as well.

It wasn't Ian Bryan who made the ruling by the way, just for the Ian Bryan haters!

I'm not an Ian Bryan hater, it's just that he has more Fawlty Towers moments than anybody else. Crazy ruling, the cards were on their backs, deal it out!!

If the cards have been exposed and on their backs how are they meant to be protected? They have been seen by the table and surely just removed from deck. Crazy ruling in such a big pot and high level tournament!

It was Karl who made the ruling.

I'm lost as to how Derek Miller gets the blinds and antes to be honest.

Anyway, I'll be impressed if he doesn't tilt after this, he was pretty sick. Jack Ellwood, although he was behind with JJ seemed unhappy that Derek didn't get Jack's original raise either, pretty much a real gent.

Paul Jackson has added his opinion: That on the end of every rule list the final rule is the TD's decision if final.

Rather than take the easy option, the most equitable decision would be to take the QQ and JJ out of the deck, reshuffle and play the hand out.

Seems to be everyone thinks this. Rather than the TD.
