Following in Hector's hoofprints:

Rules

10 questions and you must answer them all.

Google all you like or ask friends and other people just don't confer with any other entrants.

The idea is to chose the most popular answer for each question. It does not matter if your answer is correct. Your score for each question will be the number of people who gave the same answer as you.  Person with the highest score at the end wins, and if there's a tie then I'll introduce some sort of tie-breaker.

Some questions may be ambiguous as to whether to answer with a real life person/thing or a fictitious person/thing but that is down to you, some are more precise.

PM me your answers by 10pm Monday 21 November and  the reveal will be on Tuesday 22 November at 8pm (ish).

1. Name a famous Geordie.

2. A country in Asia.

3. A famous scientist.

4. Someone who is well-known for their 'tache.

5. A metallic element.

6. A department store.

7. An English footballer who has played for a non-English club team.

8. An English poker player who has won an EPT, WPT or WSOP event.

9. A female author.

10. A real person (dead or alive) called James, Jim or Jimmy.

I've decided to play this one and am going to avoid google as well for this.

Could we just clarify if a 'metallic element', as you put it, is an element that is in the periodic table in the metals group ?

Doesn't matter - you can get the answer wrong, you're just going for the most popular answer.

I'm in. Ok up to last 3. Going to be interesting how many aces there are on those. Suspect mine will be on all 3.
