Given the team news...and the fact they have the passionate home crowd behind them I think that ..
Liverpool to win @ 10-11 (draw no bet ) is decent value today

I like two bets this weekend...
In form Newcastle with their great home support are home to Chelsea and their indifferent defence.... Selection.....Newcastle to win
2-1 draw no bet
LOST

Go with Wolves and their home support against Managerless ,No Strikers and out of form Sunderland ...Selection Wolves to win
8 - 11 draw no bet
WON

Hi
I dont always back on draw no bet , I just look for value (subjective)...but over the years Ive learned this is a much more profitable way of staking/betting on football
Liverpool V Man City was an example....you could of backed both teams at 6-4 with the draw at 9 -4 ... or 10-11/evens on either with money back for the draw..granted not as bigger odds but you are betting on a more favourable percentage book
The draw generally is the ideal result for the bookmakers and its quite amazing how many times it occurs especially in closely contested matches ...In my opinion its better for the draw not to be a loser for the punter...
Happy to try and answer more if needed

Why not just back the Asian Handicap at one of the Asians where the over round is relatively small?

I do play the Asian handicap but Im just trying to simplify it for this forum as some people dont really dont understand either market...Sometimes the % or over round can be better on the draw no bet market ...you just have to hunt for the best price

Why do you place such a huge emphasis on the home crowd (featured heavily in all 3 selections)?

makes sense. but if it happens a lot in crucial matches, why not bet on it?

A Vehement home crowd that gets behind the side can really make a big difference to the players. Some examples of these grounds (in my opinion ) are Stoke,Liverpool,Newcastle,Wolves,Spurs,Chelsea, Norwich,Sunderland (not recently ) who normally get behind their team.
Quiet home grounds include Villa, Wigan,Fulham,Bolton,Blackburn, even Man Utd and Arsenal can be a graveyard.. especially when things are not going well
Supporters of some the above teams may agree or disagree..I can only base it on what Ive seen over the years

Why bet on Anything ? Value is my main reason (subjective)
If f I fancy a team and the odds are favourable...then I will bet draw no bet sometimes knowing I have the draw as a "safety net"

I have had a big bet on Blackburn to receive the most bookings points vs Swansea today at 29/20 with Hills Rovers have had 31 yellows and 2 reds against Swans 19 yellows

Sounded decent logic although statistics normally favour the away side to make more bookings
Hope it came in ?
