I didnt get it for free and sold to ppl I would consider friends on APAT the same price.  I also said I would send 1st as Im not known here.  Dnt see how thats a bad thing at all.  Obv if u can get it for free then happy days, but seeing as I didnt...

Edit: appreciate that this probs wasnt the best thread to make 1st post Smiley been lurking for ages following some of the epic blogs, but should have chosen better Smiley

the reason it's so expensive is because the authors have spent a huge amount of time/energy acquiring and developing knowledge on a subject at a level way way higher than the average person with an interest in the topic and believe (rightly or wrongly is of personal opinion) that the price to share this knowledge should be high.

I dont think these books are a good idea because there is a huge gap in author/end user value, I think its not worth 1k to buy the book, at the same time I don't think it's worth them writing it for even 2k.
