Hello everyone ... I am safe and sound and at home in dark cold colchester... Had an absolutely fantastic weekend, thankyou thankyou thankyou to everyone for making it such a success, I went out about 3 tables out, Ian "Vidal" Bradley got the Pie as a bounty (Damn him) ... A few mentions .. Firstly the Jocks, Rod, Dave, Teacake, Big Laz and the tank, Great guys, great laugh and much banter was given..AND .. taken LOL.
It was truly amazing to put faces to names and my hand was sore from shaking so many hands, Big up to all the staff at the broadway, they were fantastic, they looked after us so well.
I met Dik9 back at the marriot afterwards and he was a top bloke.  I am so tired at the moment that i cant really put into words just how much i enjoyed the whole experience, so i will just end by saying ..Heres to the next one ... I wouldnt miss it for the world !!!!

A big thank you to whoever was taking the pictures for the pic I'm now using on my posts featuring my skeletal hand and the champ, Aces Trumper. I hate being photographed, so you definitely caught my best side!

Blondes always welcome at the Broadway!

Just a quick thank you to everyone who made the night for me and friends (2 of us on the final table was a real triumph for us - Gabby too). We only registered on the site to play in this tournament, but I guess you've won us over and we'll be here more from now.

So, thanks of course to the organisers and a quick shout to those who made the night more fun for me - Sheriff Fatman, The Rock, Adam, Singstar, The Dave, Red Dog, Legume, PaddyJim (you got your chips back in the end), Aces and of course Glenn. Also thanks to Lazarus and The Rock for looking after my better half once she'd gone out.

Finally thanks to everyone at the table who tripled me up 3 hands in a row from 600 to 16200 on the bubble when my night looked over. I can't remember what I said in my interview - but I hope it doesn't get shown as I was too pissed to be coherent.

Anyone want a pie?

Hi everyone-

Just got through reading the thankses on the end of the piccies on the end of the reports having finally got back in front of a computer and though they may get lost in the sea of congratulations, I'd like to add mine - the organisation of this event was fantastic, from the excellent dealers and staff at the Broadway (easily one of the nicest venues I've attended) to the spirit in which people threw themselves into all the competitive goodies.

I'd especially like to thank you all for being so nice to my Mum, as she talked about it all the way back on the train (taking her home was my excuse for not dragging down the score of one of your quiz teams) and believe me, she knows how to complain if things don't meet her standards Smiley

I'm sorry I only got a brief chat with some of the people I've rushed around festivals after (or for) but such is the nature of a place where there's so much poker to be played... and beer to be had.  And thanks for the reporting - controlled chaos is what it's usually like... Thanks finally to TightEnd for his tireless organising and all the others who made it all run smoothly.

My mum and I will be attending any further such events and I've convinced her that her screen name isn't that stupid after all.

Your mum was lovely Jen, make sure she comes next time. Smiley

Just like to say that Jens mum knows how to play Poker!

I was sat to her left, and the first few levels it was Raise, Raise, Raise.
Every time she had to show her cards it was either KK or AA!

Grrrrr, she knocked me out!
I was impressed by the aggression though!

Just wanna say well done to Simon Trumper.

I had the pleasure of Simon to my right for about an hour 3 tables out, raising every pot he could. He was Table Captain within 10 minutes of joining our table, made a fantastic pass versus Jo after 20 and was chip leader after 30.

He looked very focused and played excellently from what I saw.

Where else would you see a £30 comp with such a field?

Hi all

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for Saturday night. The casino was excellent, the staff great, and the poker-playing company fantastic. It was great to catch up with my old Slough Palace buddies Mel and Jen, to meet one of my PokerStars SNG adversaries Byronkincaid, and to meet so many more of you. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to meet everybody.

I had an absolute ball on the tables. It was lovely playing with Colchester Kev (thanks for the pie), Scottish Dave (boy can he talk), Mr At-it Bradley (did you really have KQ?), The Bish (you have balls my friend!) and many more I can't remember the names of.

Finally, to reach my first final table in my 4th tournament and then to finish 3rd behind Aces and Actionjack, two of the best players in Europe, was beyond my wildest dreams. Gentlemen it was an honour!

Can't wait for the next one  thumbs up
