Time to move down the road, call yourself something else, and start again for another 18 months?

'While the appeal is pending, members can continue playing games but no alcohol can be sold.'

So they can continue doing the thing that they're in trouble for but can't sell booze while they do it. Seems an odd rule

Mmmmm     ....    'a bloke down the pub' told me ages ago they'd been 'sniffing around' The Western - which must have a more conducive local council, as surely it's in the same boat - maybe they knew this was coming?

Seems a bit rich for the local authority of one of the shittiest boroughs in the country to clamp down on the 'illegal activities' of a poker club, whilst the streets of Hackney host the murderous activities of various warring drugs gangs.

Who'd have thought that cleaning up the massive problems of the London Borough of Hackney would be by targetting a poxy poker club!

Local councillors and the Metroplitan Police must be immensely proud of themselves.

Their streets will be a safer place from now on   .........
