A gentleman who has provided the most inspiring story of success and hope, who started from scratch and succeeded against the odds
He joined the forum in 2008, if I recall correctly. He knew no one on here, and he was intriguing especially as snippets of his life came out in posts
He came to blonde bash six, and impressed everyone with his friendliness and attitude to life
Shortly after, in May 2008, he began a thread on The Lounge that was to prove, and still is, one of the most remarkable that blonde has seen
This is a man who has worked tirelessly to achieve his aims
A man who slept in the back of his car for over a year, to save money to help him realise his dreams sooner
So a year ago I moved into my new abode, the back of my Volvo Estate, and a year on I am STILL HERE.
It got a bit cold during the winter spell but a new sleeping bag soon sorted that out, in fact it’s a lot better sleeping during the winter months than it is at the moment, as when we get the hot spells the car is like a bloody oven which makes sleep a bit of a nightmare.
I have thought a couple of times about moving into private rent but I am a stubborn old git and begrudge giving my money to someone else especially when I can put it to better use elsewhere. A man who has never complained and has been inspirational to anyone who read the story

Sometimes the thread will go quiet for months at a time, and I wonder during those times what is happening. I think many of us had a pleasant surprise when, out of the blue, the posts started again recently and with such heart-warming news
