Staying in Lancaster gate tonight and need to buy a load of sandwiches etc for lunch tomorrow for something I'm doing down there. Does anyone know a sainsbury's, tesco's etc in that area with parking so I can go in and get what I need?

Gotta have parking as I need to buy a fair bit.

Cheers

surely just find an M&S nearby and buy their specialist platters

or better still order from a nearby sandwich shop in the morning

There's one here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=tesco+hammersmith&fb=1&gl=uk&hq=tesco&hnear=0x48760fc15cd337c3:0xa0eae30461e4040,Hammersmith,+Greater+London&cid=0,0,12376529411076441453&ei=sfLcTsqQG4TRhAfZ0dnlDQ&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&ved=0CBEQ_BI

Not exactly next door but the drive is simple/friendly enough.

Use the M+S platter sometimes but they are a ballache to carry with all the other stuff I need to take with me, sandwich shops tend not to have all the other stuff I need hence why I always use a supermarket.

There is a Tesco on the A4 at the junction with Warwick Road that has one and is probably your best bet.  Also there is a Sainsburys in Notting Hill which may be closer but I am struggling a bit to direct you to that one.  There is also a Tesco Metro where I am pretty sure you can park outside of in Paddington by the Metropole if that is any good.  The Tesco on the A4 is big though and will have what you need.
