March schedule is now out.
Wednesday is £50 with 30,000 chips, Thursday is £40 with 40,000 chips and Friday is £50 with 50,000 chips.

These huge stacks are totally contradictory to the reason given last month for reducing the clock. WTF is going on here? George - explainaments plz.... Obv I've never had that many chips in a comp so it will seem very strange!  |

In the absence of any formal updates, this is what I've found out: Monday - £10 rebuy Tue £30 - no detail Wed and thu as reported by Clompy Fri is 50k but apparently a double chance (so 2x 25k presumably?) Saturday nite is £1200 gtee but entry fee not listed (?!) Sunday - as per choppy Not sure if re-entries are still allowed? Not sure if you still get early bird chips in any comps? wtf !!!..just lunacy...why so many chips ..shortened the clock to stop nits nitting ( which although I was sceptical seemed to be working ok ) now ur gonna give em a wheel barrow full of chips ffs leave it alone..im not sitting there on a weeknight with 30k starting

Said it a few times, the way to stop nits nitting and have playable stacks is to make the antes bite a little harder. That way, you get 10 players left with 30BBs rather than 30 players left with 10 BBs
Give a structure that the recreational players are happy with (bit of play, not too late finish) and the "advantage" players can work around whatever structure keeps the critical mass of players happy.
But for some that moan about "not enough chips" or "too short a clock" half of those manage to get the lot in with a bag of spanners in level 1 no matter how many chips you give them.
