Raj is a member of blonde, cant remember her name.
I remember when she first started managing the card room, she made a decision that was clearly right against me, but I decided to have some 'fun' and argue the point. She then rang the vic to confirm the decision. She returned to tell me once again I was wrong, so I continued to argue. In the end, I said to her, bring me a man to discuss this ridic ruling, and then I'll accept it.
Won't make the mistake of having that sort of fun again
Her blonde alias is "Ruby".
When she spoke to me about decisions & stuff, I used to do that
"is there someone in authority round here, a man ideally" thing.
She was such a great sport.
He rang me recently, got Mrs Red and used that line. I am still suffering the consequences.

Raj and George will both be in Luton helping with the GUKPT this week.
Would be good if you could make it over Tikay. Should be good cash games all week and the PLO has your name written all over it.

Hi.
I refer to necromancy in the sense of a darker aspect of resurrection.
I don't actually work at Luton any more. I left a year ago to become a Casino Manager within London.
I've come back just recently to cover in the absence of a Supervisor to try and provide some insight going forwards post Raj having left.
She's now working freelance. Predominantly GUKPT and EPT stuff.
The new poker room is at the far end of the venue in a purpose built £1.6million room. It's lovely - and it will no longer be plagued with the music problems of old.
I will keep half an eye on the thread, but I don't want to ruffle any feathers over the matter. Far too opinionated to let people snipe away without some balance offered, however.
Hope everyone is well. Possibly see some of you next week.
George

Hi George,
I am otherwise engaged this evening, but will reply to this in the morning. As I have repeatedly advised as to this, cats can be skinned without ruffling fureathers.

Somebody had to enjoy the sounds of the wedding D.J and the Tom Jones tribute acts surely?

We've been highlighting Blonde stats lately and how they are vital for the forum's survival
Interesting stat that this thread has the 4th highest replies in the history of The Rail
Also interesting that "we will probably lose this thread now"
Yep interesting business dynamic that
Anyway any thread that contains the word necromancy should be protected by heritage laws or something

Hi George,
I promised I'd reply this morning, but I think I mis-read your post last night, as I was busy elsewhere.
You were referring to the criticism of Dealers & TD's at your place, & you had every right to respond. Feel free to continue to respond where appropriate.
I had initially thought you were referring to the existence - or not - of the thread.
As to the thread, I'm sure you get the drift perfectly. If Grosvenor were blonde's sponsor, I'm pretty sure you would not wish to see overt, naked, 100% spam of other rooms, events, Fessies & Promos on the busiest Board of the Forum you sponsor.
I have - twice this week - suggested ways in which it might work better all round to the benefit of us all. In brief, I suggested we all be a bit more subtle about it, move it to the Diary Section, & maybe re-name it. The thread would remain exactly as is, unedited, except for the pure spam already deleted by the Mods. We don't intend to move or rename it at present, that request, ideally, needs to come from the thread starter - Chompy. If he asks, we will, & we'll do so enthusiastically, & help support the thread.
However, if it stays on The Rail, there's always a far greater possibility that our Sponsor may take offence. And if they ask us to delete it, we will.
Good luck with next week, hope it's a success.
PS - Does your suit fit you yet?

Interesting or not, if there is a repeat of the 100% spam we saw earlier this week, yes, the thread will be closed. A bit of subtlety & common sense is all it needs, nobody needs to go looking for trouble.

Hi,
Yes. It wasn't aimed at the Blonde hierarchy.
I understand the nature of your sponsorship arrangement.
I'm engaged now to a particularly lovely British born Singaporean lass who is in charge of my wardrobe. So regrettably, my suits are a touch more size appropriate these days.

I do believe I came to know young George and the not so young Celtic by name via this thread. I think there is a place for it on the forum and if people are looking at it, they are also looking at the sponsors adds, win win for everyone.
