dont agree with your assigned range

So what range would you give him?

Can you also tell me what you're basing this range on?

"I heard that he did it with 95o a couple of years ago then stormed out of the building" won't suffice.

original spewtards are always going to spew.

either way we all agree jamming here is not good with qq right? I read eso's hh's alot and he seems to open v.wide, therefore pete should be 3beetting alot, therfore he should 3bet his premiums blahhh....

It's a tough one with limited history.

How often have we raised late position? How often has PLinton defended his blinds?

Has he shoved his big pile of purples in often?

All this needs to be considered.

It's always going to be close but as I've already said neither calling or folding is particularly bad in my opinion.

please note that we dont know specifics of hands and this is not commenting on any of petes play - i happen to think he is very good

(as proven by first hand - but im not sure that raises barrel barrel with an airball can ever be considered "on the tighter side"

Ronnie and Pete in a hand.

Pete raised, Ronnie called on the button.

9 7 2 flop

Pete bets out 27K, called by Ronnie.

turn K

Pete bets out 50K, Ronnie calls.

River 7

Pete checks and Ronnie bets 60K.

Pete tanks. Pete twitches. Pete glares. Pete counts his chips.

Pete makes the call with Q 10. Queen high.

Ronnie mucks before Pete has even turned over his cards.

Pete Lintanon took out the last guy to depart with his KQ against Richard's QQ...

Pete takes out short stack Vince with A4 against Vince's 64 in the SB.

One non-anon left, Pete Linton still slowly chipping away at people's souls.

Out 34th.
 Pete Linton raised my BB,
I moved all in with A10,
he gives me a spin with 10,8 and flops two pair.
£450 consolation prize.
Will have to win Monte Carlo event in a fortnight then.

Colin Young OUT after grinding his way to 80K.

Pete Linton 3 bet Colin, Colin shoved as he didn't believe he had a hand "cause it's Pete" (his words not mine!) and Pete snapped him off with JJ, Colin's AJ failed to improve.

Pete on about 200K.

Pete Linton on about 35K. Aparently a guy in seat 2 keeps calling his raises, and winning which is annoying him slightly.

Big diff.

his range isnt 88+ AJs+ in this spot as has been suggested

All these comments look pretty standard thought out hands.

There's no evidence of spewing whatsoever.

Certainly nothing in there to ever suggest he's 3 bet shipping over a 30bb stack with 95o or similar air.

Not saying they aren't but the suggested ranges are laughable

You can add a few more hands there that we flip against if you like.

I refuse to give him a spazz range though.

He may 3 bet fold a spazz hand to balance out when he wants to 3 bet call but he's not shoving with absolute junk.

It's a tough one with limited history.

How often have we raised late position?
This only the 2nd orbit of  2nd day  1st orbit we found QQ

How often has PLinton defended his blinds?
1st time around he Ko'd 1 player

Has he shoved his big pile of purples in often?
1st time he has done this as early in level he raised a normal figure when 3 betting
All this needs to be considered.

It's always going to be close but as I've already said neither calling or folding is particularly bad in my opinion.

if im confident in my ability at this particular table, fold and find spots im more comfortable in... also take into consideration what he thinks of us.. are we opening alot? has he ever seen us raise / fold previous to this? Also has he done this previously to any other players?

Bare in mind though id say your crushing ALOT of his range here.. but also flipping a fair bit of the time.. + he could even have JJ / QQ.

Taking everything into consideration.. i think i fold.
