Hi Guy's

This may be a very basic question but about how many hands get dealt in an hour at most venues in the UK?

Top venues like DTD, 30, maybe (short-handed game helps as well).

Average UK venue, <25 I reckon, maybe more like 22.  Assuming, Hold'em of course.

This,

plus the lack of attention to the game from some players meaning they have to be reminded it's their turn
and the slow reveal at the end of a contested pot

In the Hyatt in Warsaw it's about 12 an hour as they stop to count all the trays every 20 mins, and they table charge you by the half hour as well.  Infuriating.   "Commission!  Commission!".

Depends on the players, if you insta act/ tight table then 60 + is achievable, even with the fastest dealer if you have one or two oscar nominees can be reduced to less than 10 before people get racked off and leave.

Counted one of my dealers (he was unaware i was counting) 2 days ago on a 50/1 nlhe 7 handed at 43 and that was not excessively fast, the players didn't mess around.

Found DTD to be slower not faster than other places i play in the UK. The dealers are not really the issue its the players.

I also think if you play 1-2 or 2-5 the play is generally quicker than that on a 50-1

i agree, lots of time spent thinking about what to 3b/5b and what are c/r range should be etc, no1 bothered about getting as many hands as possible in so we can flop top pair with a better kicker than somone else and get 3 quick streets of value 3 times in a night instead of twice,
