WSOP packages now available via www.pokertraveller.com/wsop Stay at the 6* Palazzo for $90pp inc internet, tax & resort fees http://ow.ly/9bZpX. Villas for groups also available on request.

poker players should really boycott the venetian palazzo.  The owner sheldon analson opposes online poker and is funding politicians who also oppose it.

I can't miss out on Cut or Sushi Samba regardless

I hope those of you who wanted to book the Wynn/Encore at the great prices above have done so.  If you search www.lowcostusa.co.uk both hotel prices have gone up substantially.  Wynn has gone up from £1170 for 14 nights from 24th June to £1889.  Best prices at the moment seem to be via www.trivago.co.uk

Nah I rang up about Bellagio the other day but got cut off and had to go see my Dr so forgot to ring back. I'll have to ring up in the morning to sort it out, if Bellagio is decent I'll book it and if not I'll jump in the cosmo while they're running the 25% off on their site.

Hotwire are offering Trump for about $76 a night (average over an 11-day stay in June)  (It is as a hot deal, but if it is a 5* North Strip secret hotel, and the facilities include a kitchenette and do not include a casino... its the Trump) + resort+tax.

It's a very good deal at that price imo ~ even though it has his name above it.  Very large room in very decent nick, monster bathroom with separate shower and whirlpool bath.  30 seconds into the side of Fashion Show Mall.  The only negative was that there isn't much to do on property.

It's in a bit of a dodgy area off strip as well, so probably need to factor in the cost of lots of cabs.

Got the tailend of the Wynn deal. Too good to miss that. Wp for pointing it out.

Flights are very expensive though. Virgin and BA both around £800 and can't find a decent broken flight for much under £700. Probably worth holding out and seeing what happens?

Mmmm not sure, I doubt very much if prices will come down.  Have you tried Thomas Cook from Manchester?

Booked Bellagio for £390 for 5 nights, location suits me better too given current circumstances. It's obv an old room so I'll just flick the receptionist $100 at check-in and ask for a renovated lakeview!

The Thomas Cook flights 20th June - 4th July were £514 a friend of mine noticed when he was booking his up last week Chompy

Have you tried booking direct to LA then jump on a Southwest flight?

Have you tried booking direct to LV during the NY sale fares?

Even in the sales, booking direct to LA then flying SW to Vegas was cheaper as you were saving £150+ on the direct flight from the UK.
