wow yeah so helpful!  yeah that would be great....and makes a lot of sense to move around Smiley

Are there any particular WSOP events you're looking to play at the start of the trip?

The Venetian are all holdem anyway so it won't make a huge difference with dates, there is a $3k PLO on the 12th June and a $2.5k 4max on the 14th June if you wanted to be there for either of those.

No real plans to do any WSOP events other than the main.  Maybe the odd one here or there.

Schedule is mainly gonna be Venetian Deepstacks/Caesers/cash.

Gonna be sharing with a friend so a queen room is needed!

Thank you very much for your help...there's too much choice!

When there is too much choice - set the bar at 5* (or wherever) and it doesn't take long to sniff out the best price available.  And then just stay wherever that is!

Ok cool, I'll have look at the deals/promos and then post them up as I go, I'll do 2 weeks at 2 hotels first and see what that comes out at with 2 weeks at Palazzo.

I'd suggest going through the guys at livingitlovingit who post here 'Dave1961' as they have a rate of $180 a night all in for Palazzo which includes the 'Bella Suites' which are $30 more per night when booking direct.

I looked at the Palazzo 'Deepstacks Rate' which when all is said and done still comes out more expensive than the $180 they're offered at by Dave's company. The downside is paying on the front end you can never get comped for your rooms through punting. I don't gamble on the tables at any level myself so never worry about that and unless you've got a degen rooming with you there is no need to worry.

2 weeks there will come out at $2520 which is about £750 pp and great value for what is one of the best resorts on the strip and my favourite standarm room.

I'm about to start work now but will have a look at the other 2 weeks later on

Ok sorted, you can get 35% off at the Wynn/Encore on a deal which Doobs used earlier in the thread which is incredible. The problem is you can only book 9nights per person and can't book consecutively.

Deal there with promo code ONLFALL

http://www.smartervegas.com/hotels/wynn/promotionalcodes.aspx

Easily sorted though if one of you books the first 9 nights and the other the 2nd 5-9 or however long you need. For 14 nights it comes out at $1961 including taxes but not resort fees, with resort fees you're looking at exactly $2311

Both resorts for a month for under $5k which to me is a bargain and what I would book every time Smiley

The Wynn deal is pay upfront too with no refunds fwiw

wow thank you very much Smiley  yeah neither of us really punt that much.  maybe the odd 100$ on roulette but I doubt nothing that would get us any great deals.

No worries, The Wynn may vary slightly dependent on where the days fall with regards to weekends etc.

Need some new golf shoes.  May as well buy them in Vegas.

Need a new 3wood (the last one was 'naughty'.  May as well buy one in Vegas.

Fancy playing craps.  May as well do that in Vegas.

Need various new clothes.  May as well get them in Vegas.

Looks like Vegas fever is starting to flow already, wish it would hurry up and turn June.

http://www.lvgolf.com/

There's also a shop on Paradise and Flamingo.  And sometimes just driving around I just see a store and take a look.  Even at golf course, the pro shops sometimes have something decent, and at $$ prices are pretty reasonable.

There might be better bargain hunting to be had idk.
