I had an ESTA for September 2012. This appears to still be valid for my next stay. However, my accommodation details and dates of where/when I'm staying are different. Does anyone know if I need to do anything before I delve into the website?

Just login and update your hotel/flight details and you'll be good to go.

Don't think some people even do that, but I wouldn't want to be the unlucky one who got pulled.

Ha I never update it, but you fill those bits of info on the customs form anyways. No problems so far.

Still not sorted out Vegas yet due to a few problems & the two I was thinking of going with have booked for Venetian, 10 days for £900 each 21feb-3mar.

I'm stuck with the single supplement as it is & thoughts on Monte Carlo for same stay for £900 please

Shocker Wink

I'm just about to have some lunch, but give me 20 minutes and I'll have a look for you mate.

TI/Mirage would be preferable if they're in the Venetian, so I'll see what I can find.

Any views on Caesar's? When I first went to Vegas in 2006, it was one of the nut properties about and priced accordingly. The last couple of years, whenever I've been through it (deepstack, the "all you can eat salad box" or whatever), it seems to have lost some of its sparkle. Never seen the rooms and realise there's three tower options (including the nobu), but assuming I'm someone who might spend a bit of time in a room and likes a bit of affordable luxury, are they worth the price?

I notice expedia has a reduced price for there in June, which puts it in line with say MGM.

Am a way off booking yet, but as you know, the research can take as long as you want. Plus it's fun.

I have a bit of a personal bias against Caesars tbf.  However, I'd take it $:$ over MGM...

The original towers (I think Centurion and Forum) are tired, I'm sure they freshen some up here and there, but you could get a proper bad room, something you'd definitely be unhappy with if you paid 5* money for.  The Augustus and Octavius Towers are what you want to aim for, I haven't stayed in a new tower, but photos/vids look pretty good.  Reports are that you have good odds swinging greasing an upgrade to a better tower on check in, however variance is such that failing here could leave you in a very poor room.  If you are prepared to jump up and down about it and complain about a poor room, you will probably get moved.... however for honeymooners the magic moment may have already gone...!

I'm actively looking for June prices atm, Caesars isn't coming out anywhere near the top in terms of value.

I won a package in 2009 with Ladbrokes that came with a week at Caesars. Problem is with those are that you get plotted up in the bowl rooms on, and I wasn't having any of that!

I waved a hundred under the nose of the girl checking us in, whilst saying I had heard that the rooms in the Augustus Tower were nice, and surprisingly she managed to find one on the 45th floor looking directly over the fountains Cheesy

On the most part it's ridiculously expensive for what it is, and it almost has delusions of grandeur if you like. Quite often it's cheaper to stay at the Wynn than there, so I've never looked at it again since.

Not sure those dates could be much worse tbh... Fly out on Friday, but make sure that you get to pay for 2 weekends.

This is from London because your dates don't fit with Virgin from Manchester.

You can stay at TI for £1040 through ebookers, and that is flying direct with Virgin.

Bit more expensive than Monte Carlo, but you're right opposite the Venetian, and it's a better hotel anyway imo.

Just checked individually to be sure, and that's by far the cheapest way to package those 2 together.

Flights are just under £600 and the hotel is ~£650 for those dates.

Thanks, chaps. Suspect it will be an Easter decision. Hopefully, I can win a buck or two between now and then before I have to make the decision. Should help with that.

TI is decent.  If you can afford the extra think the Mirage is worth it but its a solid place and a great location.
