Vdara knew what they were doing, and just played the long game...

Throw him a few bones, but make sure he doesn't come back Wink

. One thing in Vegas you don't want to be is sleep deprived, but because of this it did get to me.

If you're NOT sleep deprived youre doing Vegas all wrong imo Wink

How did they respond to the complaint that the Venetian was too far away?

I thought they did pretty well to arrange the herds of wildebeest sweeping across the plain, but I'd also be a bit upset if they didn't arrange for Krakatoa to erupt during my stay.

Have I missed something?

Night 1
Unplug alarm or turnoff
Attempt to find blind controls

Day 2
Ask for assistance if you fail in either of the above two tasks

Night 2
Smash alarm and place weights on blinds
Proceed to bar or poker table if you fail in either of these tasks

Day 3
Sit in the reception area until they move you to another room

How have you turned it into such an issue!

Flights still pretty expensive.  Best I found for £791 today.  Any tips or just waiting to see if there is a sale again?

Think it's just a case of waiting it out now, and hoping that Virgin throw up another sale in the next month or so.

Does that include a seat with less legroom?

Really? It's that bad? Flying there is direct from Manchester. Flying back is to Budapest via Frankfurt. 790is return to England direct? Seems really good?

I guess you're paying ~£1.2k if you factor in your flight to Manchester as well?

£800 is the going rate direct, but it's not likely to increase much over the next 6 weeks, and for that reason it's worth waiting for any sale that may pop up.

I paid just over £500 for mine, direct with Virgin.
