I'm not sure if anyone has highlighted this already, but from 31st Oct 2016 Norwegian Air will be flying direct from Gatwick to Vegas twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays). Prices look really good. Just over £400 return for their Low Fare + option which includes seat reservation, 1 x 20kg bag and meal. Their Premium cabin is about £900 return. They will be using their new Boeing 787 Dreamliners on this route.

I flew to Bangkok in Norwegian's premium cabin and it is very good, and probably lies somewhere between premium economy and business on other airlines. It's not a flat bed, but it has a much bigger seat pitch and greater recline than your average premium economy seat. Food/drinks/entertainment were all fine too. I think they have free wifi on most routes too.
If you can snag one for £900 return vs paying north of £1000 to fly in PE on BA/VA, its a no brainer in my opinion.

You can get BA Club World or Virgin Upper Dublin-Vegas return for around £1150 currently.

You can also get double miles on Virgin, registration required.

Last year Doobs recommended BLOC hotel at Gatwick airport which i tried and was more than adequate
Was scanning through the meet and greet parking for next week and 15 days was coming up around £180
Went to BLOC hotel site and got a night in hotel with WI-FI etc and 15 days Valet parking with Gatwick airport parking £179 all in
Thought that was decent price considering the hotel is in the terminal

Hilton has a sale on at the moment. Basic room is £100ish, down from £140ish.

Everyone's different but I like getting a coach to the airport. You can take two cases and it's far more stress free than going by train. I've done that to Gatwick and to Heathrow in the past from Birmingham.
Not quick by any means but cheap and effortless if you're in no rush.

I did coach when I was much better on my pins, and it was alright.
Getting dropped off is the nuts, though. Can't beat pulling an all nighter, and then napping through the flight

Does that include 15 days valet parking? with only a short walk to terminal/hotel

You don't get parking for that, but it is a very short walk to the check in desk. If you're driving down, your deal is, I imagine, better.

Sorry to be a pain but has anyone produced that snazzy "what tournaments are going on in Vegas during June and July" spreadsheet this year?

The alternate version is much easier to use on a phone, as it lists everything for the day vertically.

Yeah, that's a better version of the alternate schedule.
Cheers, Simon.
