Anyone had delay in getting ESTA? Applied 25th January , money taken to pay ($14) and email to say pending on same date. Heard nothing and when i go to site to review application say "not found" ? Still a few months to my flight but rather get this sort of stuff sorted asap Sad

https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta is site i used

I would suggest something has gone wrong if it says not found?

Might be worth getting in touch with them.

I had that happen once, then went back into the website after clearing browser. Put my details in again and it popped up ok.

Does anyone know if there are more events being announced for this years WSOP - can’t seem to find an Omaha hi-lo for less fun 10k buy in on the schedules I am looking at 🤔

There are more to come I believe, including the lower buy-in PLO8 stuff. Only 08 has been scheduled so far at the $1,000/$1,500 buy-in level.

As of today, this is all they have released as far as I am aware.

There'll be some more yet, and they normally make a big announcement when the rest of it is out. Normally all the schedules are out in the next month or so.

I better work out how much of Blonde's money I'm going to light on fire in the summer Grin

This year I am pretty doubtful, but I think putting PLO8 and mixed O8 close together is better, though putting them too close is pretty daft.  If I do make it, I guess just having one $1500 event to aim at and a bunch of none WSOP events probably makes the overall cost more manageable.

Mitchell!

There are still direct flights from Manchester but they now refer to it as a summer service, not sure if that is different to last year.

Flights showing as available April onwards.

I know you stayed at NYNY with Matt, Stu. What was the casino like? I've never considered staying there before, because I could only get comped normal rooms, and shower/tub is no good.

I'm now seeing suites which has a walk in shower as well as a tub, so might give them a spin as the location is better than Luxor, and I wouldn't mind a change of scenery for 3rd week.

We loved it. We had a lot of fun there mainly down to the dealers/croupiers rather than the other players to be honest.

The craps crew were really good, possibly helped that we were doing a lot of the 2 way betting which encouraged others to follow suit.
We had a good run on a blackjack table and we asked them not to swap the dealer out and the pit boss was like 'no problem guys'.

Casino floor isn't too big so you don't get lost and NFI and Toms Urban are both great places to have a drink break right off the casino floor.
Plenty of slots for you too Marky, I couldn't comment on the variety as I am just happy sticking my money in any hole I can see when I have a little slot play.

Think I'll do a week there, then. I've had a fair few nights in NFI drinking, and it's always a good laugh.

Ticks another off the list, and it's only $280 for the week. I get $400 back in Freeplay & RC, so basically paying me to stay. Though I'm sure that's not how it will work out Cheesy

I'm much the same with the slots, so no problem as long as there are plenty to stuff my money in!

Couple of good drinking holes there too. I always take small/non gambling friends to that pub in the middle with the pianos and live music, always a winner with everyone!
