Just had mine cancelled, likely go for refund rather than voucher, fingers crossed ill get to go soon (October rather than 2022)

I'll take one, and probably book to just go out when borders open if it's in time for the UFC.

If not, I've already got Dec booked and will do that instead.

Went to a VGK game last time I was out there, and had great fun. Even though I had no clue what was going on Cheesy

Everything is returning very quickly, will be interesting to see, really hope it works out for them.

Masks are now optional in casinos and many are removing the plexiglass dividers.

1st June the full covid mandate is removed, no need to social distance, reduce capacity etc

It's an honour system rather than optional masks.

Plexiglass is all gone, though.

I think something like 60% of Americans have the first vaccination now, but I think vaccination hesitancy is higher there.  Despite this, I don't think a really horrible future wave will happen there either, as they are going to get close to herd immunity. It will be interesting to see how the outcome differs between us and them.  I think we are likely a bit too cautious and they are a bit too gung ho.  I can see me getting there next year and don't worry too much about a big downside.

Nothing official, but a good thread on travel here.

https://twitter.com/EvilDoctorK/status/1396798790145912834

Asked by a chap I know about the US, and he said that he thinks US will go green as soon as they open to us.

Posted it on the other thread by mistake, lol.

Did you watch any of the golf at the weekend Marky?

It was almost like pre-COVID days. Certainly no sign of social-distancing, and very few masks to be seen.

Yeah, I had it on most of the weekend, and that's how it should be outdoors now.

Bit of luck it'll be the same here by next year, once we get through the few humps we have left.

They just changed the rules on masks in the USA, so don't think you need to wear them outside at all, and fully vaccinated people don't need to bother at all.

The golf was a bit crazy though, people should still be a bit more careful.  It seems both golfers were jostled more than is safe (in pre-Covid terms).  Brooks Koepka wasn't amused with it all, but he is carrying an injury and didn't win.  Mickelson was obviously buzzing, but wasn't entirely positive about the experience either.

People should definitely be relaxed outdoors now, here and in the US, just not that relaxed.

Not something I'm going to get too worked up about as a one off.

Not great, but people probably just got carried away, and not likely to be something we'll see every week Cheesy
