As you may have read elsewhere on the forum, Tracey performed her 2nd stand-up gig last night at a comedy competition in London.  A few of us went along to support her and she did absolutely fantastically, sailing through the heat to the next round (details tba).

Well done Trace, really proud of you funny lady Smiley

I texted her the very same words Laxie used - "Never in doubt".

Delighted for her.

Ty ty ty! It was scary, exhilerating, nail biting and ridiculous all at the same time. Claw, Andrew T, Holdy and Gatso sat in the front row and were the stars as far as the compere was concerned. Andrew T dressed in his mandatory black shirt and trousers (although the shirt did have a very daring black stripe running through it) was obviously just back from a funeral and Holdy and Claw were the token lesbians.

Holdy & Claw laughed at everyones jokes and basically kept it all going. Even if I hadn't got through to the next round it was still a brilliant night. My friends from Northampton delivered as I had told Claw and Holdy they would - they were mad as a box of frogs and i spent an hour on Edgeware road chasing my friend up and down trying to get her into the car and get home. Eventually we had a Lebanese meal, a Hookah and she was calm enough to get home, after chatting up 2 street cleaners, bumming cigarettes off them (she's a non smoker) and getting one of them into my car for no reason other than he looked tired and needed a sit down.

As we eventually drove down the Edgeware road with everyone in the right place we tooted and half of the edgeware road waved back as they now know us......great night. Next time we're staying down and drinking!

Thank you for coming xxx

Trace is one of the funniest people I know but it's generally unintentional so I was a little worried it won't work when she was trying to be funny. Nothing to worry about though, she was brilliant and looked right at home up there on the mic. Great fun night

Her hairdresser is utterly bonkers

I've managed to fool you all for so long - those mis-hears and mistakes are well rehearsed.....Miriam (the hairdresser) still thinks she has gone through as a runner up....
