One of my extended work colleagues has asked me about clubs in Nottingham, I pretty much never make it past the pubs in Hockley so have no clue. Can anyone give me an idea where a bunch of 30 something blokes wouldn't be out of place? Thought Tantra was ok last time I went but that was 6 months ago, anywhere else decent?
probably oceanana due to its size but for fun why not go to a comedy club or go to the dogs at colwick racecourse lol. I did this on my stag night a few years ago with about 25 mates, we all got in and i won about £86 on the night and won 5 out of 6 races on the tote and just missed out, afterwards half the guys went to notts and the others either went home pissed, skint or back to derby lol

My stag do is gonna be in Nottingham now at the end of next month. I am going to start by letting my home game buddies sample a real poker experience at DTD, by having a private two table sit & go.

However, looking for something fun to do between about 4-7pm, obviously more of a drinky type thing, rather than a paintball type thing - any good suggestions for a midday tipple?

If the weather's ok and there's a decent enough number in your crowd then the waterfront isn't too bad.

Pretty tough time of day to find anything overly exciting though tbh.

Not even that mate tbh, just waitresses that wear skimpy shorts and tops, nothing more.

Dont forget the weird mixture of customers, from family's out for their lunch to old men sat in raincoats and then a few spotty geeks!

Plus the beer is awful and the food is the dirtiest shit I have ever seen.

Oh and the women should never be seen in those clothes, normal ratio is 1 fitty and 12 dinner ladies.

One of my most hated places!

The other problem you'll have is finding places that will let a group of blokes in.

Doubt NG1 would have a problem with that

But theres also Reflex that is sort of an 80's bar.
Tbh it depends what your looking for? I've spent many nights in Nottingham for many years so i'm happy to help.

Can someone recommend another curry house apart from Memsaab please? They can't accommodate their group for the night they want.
