Sigh..

Found the AA's again and managed to get a 1989 UTG limp raise to force the pot hu with position vs a fishy.

He donks an 8xx board, and thinking he won't likely fold an overpair I just ship in the monies, he agonises for a while.. And finds the fold.

Nvm.
yes you are unlucky he does not have AQ there

I've hit a few flops and had AA a few times.

Won AA vs AK, 3bp IP, cbet, cbet, cbet smallish on
  three diamonds

I made the river small because he is the only decent player on the table and thought he would fold to a shove (275 extra left after a 132 river cbet).

Turns out he had the  nut blocker and would've snapped a shove.  Funny part is I think I find a fold easier when I have that card, not harder.

--------------------------------------------

Found J8ss and managed to find a nice river spot vs a guy I've won a lot of small pots from.

I raise preflop and 3 way I check back    , I call a lead on  , fold behind and I raise a river lead of 38 to 132.
In this spot im sure he never thinks im bluffing, and having been caught at showdown there are a lot of suited connectors in my range.  I realise I narrow this to mainly hearts on the turn but I was going to bluff all heart and connected river cards + I hit 8 clean ones as well.

I haven't seen him make a fold yet but I think he seems reasonable from what I've seen so far.  He quickly comes to the correct assumption and folds, showing me A6o.

Cheesy

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Then like nits do, I hit a flop the next I i find AA, and so do two other people.

AA vs A7 vs 77

on A107cc.  I cbet and the money goes flying in from the other two.... I merely call and announce topset.

Like a run good nit should, I fastroll my hand and the other two both shout for chips even when the flush comes in on the turn, which is good.  I had the for a redraw but didn't need it this time.

Having fun and runnig good.

No spew no spew no spew..

Uh oh.. Getting the drinks on.

There was this lovely Canadian lady, 'Alex' who had brought one of her 20yr old daughters with her 'Jade'. Jade was slim, fit, smiley and chatty.  She was here to learn how to play poker from her mum.

Unfortunately her mum isn't much of a card player...

They aren't here any more.

However just before they went we were getting a drink.. Then Alex got stacked, they waited in the bar for me but the waitress took too long and Jade had to come back, apologise and say they were leaving.

[ ] sure got rid of the drink.
[X] now drinking with my new Iranian friend next to me called Mehdi.

First one went down easy and onto the second.

Had some rungood and bad over the last hour.

Seat 9  - Jo. Has been trying to outdickswing me... So far OOP he's winning with the Q3ss and the 88, and suchlike.

He woke up after I've owned him for the last 3 hours when I made a misread and put him in with 910o on 7xxhhh 9o.  He had KJhh.  Sigh.

For a while he ran supergood vs the table and went from 200 up to 750 pretty quickly with lots of showdownz.

And since then he's tried to be a hero vs me and is currently winning.

Other than that though, I've had 55 vs AJhh aipf for 50bbs
1010 vs AK same guy for 75bb's

Won both.

And had KK vs AK aipf for 200
+ AKhh vs J9o aipf for another 100 vs same guy.

Back close to my peak at 1212... Gotta run better in 3bp's!!

Little confused by all the bitterness and aggro all over the forum in the last few weeks.

I really hope we can find some common ground and have a good holiday season.

Currently have a 4wide tower, 3 stories high.. And Faye the masseur has just gently rejuvenated my shoulders.  Ty faye!
