I need to post less on facebook.
Sorry to be all mysterious, just a few things to say about private games that wouldn't offer me any benefit posting on here

Sell?
Thought about this, but tbh it seems a little balla and 'high' for me... I think I know some people who could be interested but its so hard to trust in these things and I've been told by one or two that its something that really only goes on with close friends.
I wouldn't want to overstep the mark with the people I think could/ would be interested someday... and I know the close friends I have in poker are all currently struggling.
I want to obv... but I'm trying to be a grown up about these things... and just really have no idea how to go about anything like this properly.

You jest, but I had to pay my first ever bribe on my way back from the Casino the other night. Had the proper conversation with security about it the day after and that won't be happening again.

Heading back to the $1/2 game tonight for a session, going to keep morale high and get some more $$ for the 'kitty'.
Obv a Sat night should be a premium night however its a shame I do have to work tomorrow, but i get paid double time on a Sunday, so it's not all bad.
Work has picked up today with myself and the guy I'm working with finally getting somewhere with what we've been doing. It's all fun n games though, and since he's pretty new to the overseas life I'm trying to help him learn the ropes as we go.
Other than that, still having lots of thoughts about 'big life' stuff. Actually contemplated whether a shrink could help.... then realised I have a pair and strapped them back on.
Really want to be able to get my weight down and I'm managing to sort my food out at the moment, the key I guess is now to add and keep some good exercise but I'm so tired after 10/11 hour days and wanting to grind when I'm not destroyed that it might be tough. Need to do it though.
Just rambling now, hope everyones new year has started well...
Oh, thinking about doing a package for UKIPT Cork, if anyone is interested in either buying or going with then let me know... its just a thought atm (but its soon-ish i think)

Played a mixture of B- and A- game tonight but still made a couple of decent folds when I was clearly behind but had a 'bluff catcher' and also went for some thin value in a couple of spots.
Almost all the +ve money I finished with came from a cooler (JJ vs 66 on J6xAx), an AA aipf hand and QQ vs 89 on 8xx.
I've managed to not 'lose' any money in some silly spots which is as much of a win to me. Trying to remind myself of this at the time is hard sometimes.
But tired, and sleepy and getting to bed before I have to be up in like 4 hours for another 11hour day - joy!!! sleeeping tomorrow night!
Still considering the 'big game' options, and also worked out and thinking about Cork. That could be a lot of fun.
Another option has become clearer to me, I could take overtime from one of these trips as 'toil' (time off in liu) which would mean extra annual leave. Then I could look at doing something 'big' with my time and making it be worth more than if I'd taken ££ directly.
Oh, also I played a session last night online and won a decent amount.. not sure but need to work out my money vs pleno's on stars as I dont have the ability to cash out mine... haven't sorted docs. Then I'll use mine for some UKIPT sats or something.. and obv keep moving up and onward to 25nl again!
nn, peace

today was tough to start with.. but got my teeth into something which was good. Then got rained on and had to spend a few minutes with it dripping down my back while I was doing something outside - that woke me up a little.
Going to smash a Salmon fillet, spinach, beans, carrots and rice in a bit!

Had a good day at work after some sleep last night..
then headed off for a live session tonight after some munch.
For the record live sessions here are going like this so far:
1. 5 hours - +$273
2. 5 hours - +$296
3. 4 hours - -$106
Struggled to find value hands today and the one time I found AA vs a mega whale... he didnt flop a pair!
Won more money with A high today than with pairs.. and made one mistake. I raise/ 4bt/ fold AJo vs a guy who can 3bt SB light, but probably doesnt. He had KK and made the final bet.
Other than that, had a really good game but got tired last time so this time i downloaded some angry birds games to keep me busy! I really enjoyed them... little addictive though.
Just keeping the WSOP ME 2012 on play, now up to the FT again... so sick to get to the ME FT... really is!
I've been making some small waves with my staking questions and had little replies on the 'lifelong lovers' thread in the lounge, asking some awkward questions and other peoples opinions.
Planning to talk to the cash game guru tomorrow night, so looking forward to that.
Just want to grind and play, a lot, at the moment. Really getting into the idea of playing the UKIPT Cork, so likely to see some sort of staking thread up soon... Mini question - does anyone think I should limit %'s to like 2.5/5 in order to get more people 'on board'!?
I made a vow last year to pledge 5% of all 5fig scores to blonde members themselves in someway. This forum and its mods, and members and participants have given me a lot, and I'd like to give 'something' valuable back. I will be trying to be better on the PHA boards this year. I really do think I have something to offer in the <100nl market.
Rambling now.. and smashing a cider!

oh yeah, and in the fashion of complete openness, in these live sessions... ive had a couple of ciders prior, and plenty during...
I've been keeping a steady B through to A- game the entire time... I don't think I can play my A+ game as they won't respond with aggression from what I've seen, like how some people in the UK would 'blowup' to being constantly 3bt n so on.. the guys here just call more and try to flop pairs even harder!
By that I mean that my A+ game (imho) requires some playing back at me, and appropriate and successful responses from me.
But been playing really well so far, tonight is a testament to that, so few value hands, and only 'lose' due to one move preflop that ran into KK. He said in the car home he probably cries/ calls with JJ/ QQ vs me.. but that KK and AK would be too strong to fold. Fair shout.
Anyways, really going to bed this time.

Had a really interesting skype call last night about cash game poker.
Some completely different viewpoints from anyone I've talked to before, with a few suggestions for things that once discussed made a lot of sense but initially seemed strange.
Going to be playing again tonight, will be continuing to play the way I have.. probably not going to be 4bt'ing the same guy light again. When he's on the SB and vs my late position raise I just didn't expect him to only have QQ+, but from what he said on the way home... he just might.
Anyways, thinking some salmon brain food, spinach, and a little veg should get me off to a good start.
I'm still trying to work out Cork, as well as a potential holiday to a dream destination of mine later on in the year.. hopefully some time grinding both live and online in good situations, a visit to Wimbledon as I haven't been for a year or two, and almost certainly a Hong Kong trip later on in the year! (possible Macao trip...
)
So lots going on, work is a little slow but its still moneys!
<3 watching the WSOP footage on youtube!
enough rambling..

Doesnt "A+ game" mean your best game? Are you saying you cant play your best because they will not respond in the correct manner. My mind boggles at this. . . Surely if u are now jus playing ur "B game" because it is more profitable then isnt that you just adjusting and ur "B game" now becomes your "A+" game... or something like that...
But to say u are consciously not playing ur best game just sounds strange to say the least. Hope u win whatever game ur playing
