it was 62k, loser of the hand gets 50% winner 25% other 25% split between everyone else at the table.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

I won £350 in the £1/1 game anyways, which was good.
Then boom, smash another £2421.58 on top!
Errrrrrr bink.

The game at Aspers is close to dead now with many of the players struggling and now the regs won't want to go because of the lack of BBJ now.
Thinking about a 'Vic' trip today, let me know of anyone is interested.

I got impression from earlier posts that Aspers don't seed the next BBJ from that pool. Does it start again at nil?

Stopped tilting yet?
It was obv a shame to be there and not win it.. But so happy for the guy that won, think its going to genuinely make a massive difference to his life, doesn't seem like he's going to punt it away either. That would tilt me hard if someone spunked it all over the roulette table.

what was the atmosphere at the table like? how did it go down? was it allin on the flop for example so everyone was sweating it, or did the hand play out/ was there a moment he was super pissed cos he'd lost with quads before he realised?

None of the above...
I'll go through the hand, because I think I was the only one not in the hand paying attention.
Raise pre from Jason Duke (a friendly older chap, rather snug in nlhe), call from zoltan and then folds round, with one caller behind.
FLOP
10 4 3 rainbow
Check, cbet, call, fold
TURN
10c (second club)
Jason checks, Zoltan bets, Jason min raises and announces "I dont think U have the 10". Zoltan smiles and calls the 25 (Jason has 55 behind)
RIVER
4
Jason then goes all in and Zolly quickly calls, saying "I have two fours"... Jason chortled and says "well I have two tens"
At which point Suni Mistri says "its the bad beat"
It takes another 30 seconds for anyone else to realise what is happening.. There is a £500 house over house bonus on Wed and Sun and we all think its that which has gone.
Then BOOOOOOM it hits home and we tell zolly he's just won £30k and the guy blows.. Screaming and shouting.. We get the cardroom manager over and he gets it all confirmed.
Zolly gets 29400
Jason gets 14500
everyone else (all 7) get 2421.58!
Not a bad session.

Had a fun session at the Vic.
Feel like im playing pretty good, started steady but then picked up some speed and ended up getting stuck in 6th gear for a bit.
I've not really had that happen before, it was interesting.. I didn't ever get in any horrendous spots, but I did get in a succession of all in pots.
Q9ss vs K10ss on 633ss.. We turn a spade and lose 50bbs
AKo vs AA aipf for 100bb
KK vs Ax aipf for 250bb
We only won the last one and managed to get back to even after losing a bunch of small pots and running a little cold on the 1/1 as a warmup.
I've calmed and slowed a little since and now have a new friend in the for of Saad, the flop hitting monster..
This guy has won literally 80% of pots in the last two hours, has yoyo'd between 50-600 and back again. He's currently up at 700 and were trying to get into as many pots as possible, in position vs this super station.
Gl me

Unfortunately Saad got stacked by someone else, and although I had position on him he decided to go for the ultimate spinup and head to a tough looking 2/5 lineup. Kinda made me laugh, I wish him the best but when our table had won 'rake free' for an hour I didn't see the logic myself.
I can now take the runbad tonight and chalk it up to officially £1k ev, which is a shame.. But worse things have happened.
Lost KK vs JJ vs AQhh aipf for 150bbs each.
Lost AK vs 88 aipf for 55bbs - Kxx x 8.
Im managing to induce some beautiful apewage but as yet can't really hold.
Lolz
Keeepin on keeping on.
