Thanks man, really felt like I played very very good 'poker' in the GPS even though I admit now I made a few 'hasty' decisions in some spots.
Busting with the second nuts in two comps really can't be that bad a thing when you include general live players abilities to turn up with such a wide variety of hands sometimes. I think I played 'well' in the DTD300 last weekend but I really struggled to make any good hands and I think I had a pretty tough table (considering the field).
So lets see how it goes...
Fairly confident if I can make a few hands I'll be able to do well with a few bb's.
But my biggest 'weakness' is that I'm just not as confident as some people I know in my <30bb game, I have a relatively ok knowledge but just not 'perfect' ranges or balanced ideas of how to adjust 30>25>20>15>10bb's....

can't seem to sleep at all and feeling horrendous again... this 'cold'/ sniffles isn't going away just yet...
sigh - more days off work.
Hope I can relax and sleep soon, I'm one of these people who can always sleep anywhere, so when I can't its a really big deal.

Noooooo more excuses(tough tables, 2nd nuts into nuts etc), played perfect all day but if you make "a few" big mistakes overall you played bad. The best players are those who play a B+ game 24/7 and don't slip up at all. Far more so than a super sick Isildur or Jymaster 55/48/18 for 500 hands of an MTT yet will 4b call off A3 or something equally silly at the end.
Your biggest weakness isn't <30bb poker or biggest strength >100bb poker you are a winner at both if you slow down and just think about what you're doing rather than trying to win every chip at any opportunity
I feel like you're going to do well this weekend if you just slow everything down and don't over think
Lets bring it home for team Northampton

Thanks mate, hope so.
Hoping the 'old addage' that in this case the 'chips' will mean more to me, having physically cost more.
The DTD300 felt like a 'small' tourny and I still didn't mess about or do anything silly, which is reassuring, even if I did have one spot with a nut blocker to try and bluff a good player.... I still took the better part of valor and allowed him that small win instead.

Think you'll find Dave, I said I wouldn't play without you.
Ed, I can't say I said the same but you and father are essential imo.
Im up for making this 'cash game' a 24hour marathon, and tbh think that's probably the only way I'll 'jb it' on a stream.

ok, not gonna get a streamed game for the MC weekend, BUT how about a game on WEDNESDAY 17th (night before the first live day.
Including team Gascoigne & Dave would be epic. Father might get impatient at not being able to see many flops though...

Ah yeh sorry, Wednesday. I reckon live stream is out of the question, but could pay tighty to update?!
And I reckon we should defo play the dealer shows one game, so every hand the dealer picks a card from the winning hand to show to the whole table.
